The hogs have been from 120 on down. He catches ear or top of the neck. But I think he'll get down with a few more. At least I hope so I've had hell with catch dogs the last year or so.

I hope he continues to improve for you. yep , I sent my bulldog at about the same age to a big olé boar and it got crazy. Dog did a heck of a job but lost a canine tooth. He was my first registered dog. I've delt with everything from dog aggression, people aggression and everything in between. That's what I get for going the old Craigslist pound dog route I guess. The guy he came from shows dogs. He always had good looking dogs but where a little heavy for my liking. All his dogs had a good handle so I thought I would try one out. I've been pleased so far.
