They are coming hard to horns.I had four come in hard,at my first stand.Today about 4:30 this afternoon.Good luck.

Hmmmm. In Kent county the bucks are still in bachelor groups and I saw many doe over the weekend with no buck in sight. Guess maybe because it was up into the 80's this past weekend.

I dont know?Been seeing them run doe here for a week.Never had them run so hard to rattling,as they did today.Three sure enough mature bucks,and one young nice 8.The louder you hit them horns,the more they liked it.I passed on a nice one,might regret that later.

We are located in Kerr and Real counties and the bucks are still together, no rut as of yet......

A 200 inch buck was killed in Shackelford county this week. :o Hopefully I will get some pictures.

Here is that Shakleford Co deer Alan, he is a bull of the woods fo sho!!  203 and some change, funny thing is he doesn't even look that old or have all that much mass...

I was told he was only 5,and weighed 150.Aint a real big body for this country.I know the ranch he was shot on has always had some whoppers.

Yeah I heard it was just south of Albany, I figured you were pretty familiar with whos place he was killed on.

My buddy put hands on that deer,and said he is pretty heavy.I guess he'd have to be to score that much.

He has pretty good mass, just so wide that it doesn't look that heavy..

Just talked to my brother, he said things are in full swing needed to get some welding done and he was gonna go out and grab his gun and horns. Good luck guys.
