haven't seen it but heard the new state record was shot not far from where the old one was around fredrick, ok.  anyone seen it or heard anything about it.

Bray, I saw a report about this on the news.  If you watch the newscast closely, it appears as if they broke off the right main beam sometime during the process of the weigh-in.  In one of the shots, you can see about 4" of main beam on his right side, and a guy is holding the rest of the antler & it's nowhere near the deer.  This will never be a record, sadly....... the jerks broke his horns. :o

THE DEER I WAS TALKING ABOU WAS A TYPICAL 18 POINT THAT CAME FROM WEST OF DAVIDSON ON TH RED RIVER.  THE DEER SCORED 203.http://www.swoknews.com/main.asp?SectionID=11&SubSectionID=99
