Title: squirrel dogs Post by: craig on November 28, 2009, 06:26:27 pm here are some of my dads squirrel dogs i have told some of you about. took them out today to get some pictures under the tree.

How are they bred Craig? Look like they may be a fiest/cur or some type of cross with the build and coloring. Either way, looks like they know how to find the tree rats!

they are rat terrior, feist cross. he hunts some with a guy from alabama and has some of his feist dogs bred into them. you need to come up and go on a squirrel hunt . Does your dad still walk hunt with them or does he ride in a buggy or on a horse/mule when he hunts em? I know of a couple of critters you will need to get off the feed bill by that time as well :D

i took those with my phone , im doing good to get them posted havent got the resizing thing down yet. ;D the top dog is the biggest one he has , he is about 20" tall the rest of them are rat terrier size.
