Title: Urinating Blood (after hunt) Post by: scout1 on November 28, 2009, 06:50:39 pm Went hunting this morning, and the dogs had bayed and caught a good boar about 220 lbs. checked the dogs, none were cut bad. Got home and my catahoula (gritty) is acting sluggish, and walking stiff legged, noticed he was dripping, and urinating blood (looks like straight blood). He ate pretty well and drank water. My question is do you guys think he got hit in the gut or kidney area (he didnt have a mark or cut) if so how bad does this injury sound. Can't get a hold of a vet around here (southeast New Mexico) on a weekend. Any advice would be appreciated.
Title: Re: Urinating Blood (after hunt) Post by: BigAinaBuilt on November 28, 2009, 08:50:46 pm I would give him one more look over to see if you could find any sign of a hit ( even his penis) and get him to a vet asap because it is more then likely an internal injury.
