Nice lookin setup! Question for you and/or others - for the section that holds trapped/caught hogs what is the ideal height from floor to ceiling?  I've made a few and I think I leave too much room in there.. want to get some opinions.

thanks alot man! in the part where i load the hogs in and the part that holds the hogs in my trailer is about 4 and a half foot. but i made the trailer liek that so that i could haul my fourwheeler in the trailer on the way to go hunting, and then on the way back if i have hogs, then i can put the fourwheeler on the back of my truck. for the most part this height works fine. but i have had bigger hogs that have tried to get up in the corners of the trailer and climb out and  break part of the paneling off before. but if i were to build another trailer JUST to haul hogs in i would probably make the height of one hog panel. which if im not mistakeing is about 3 foot tall.. maybe a few inches taller??.. but i think that would work well!!! thanks!

awesome looking rig!!!

Only thing I would have done different is use the 4" utility panel instead of the 5"cattle panel.  I have seen 60lb dogs snake through a 5" square if they want to, dogs can put their head through and fight with each other or bite things on the outside and big hogs break their snouts in them and small hogs run out of them like they dont exist.

Other than that I really like the design..........Good JOB

thanks man! yea you have a good point there... but as you can see under the dog box is the only spot that i used the 5' panel where they hogs are, the rest is expanded metal. but where I did use it, between the 5 " gaps, i welded 1/2 inch solid rod there to reduce the gap... the first time i loaded a hog in there i didnt have the solid rod in there and it was about a 80 lb sow and she did like you said, she stuck her head in the gaps and broke that panel off the welds!!
