Title: BMC Yellow Brindle Male (pics) SOLD Post by: Caughtandhobbled on January 19, 2010, 03:35:34 am I am offering a Brindle BMC male that is 14 months old. He is a very good dog as far as manners go, he was raised at my house with my boys and wife (spoiled). He has been hunting very well since he was about 6 months old and baying in the pen at 2 months. The dog has been mostly hunted with a couple of close range dogs. I have never hunted him alone, but I believe that he would hunt alone with no problems. He uses his nose very well and will shutdown a hog, he has no quit and is very gritty. He is a smart gritty, he has never been cut bad (I do run him with bay vest and cut collar). There have been times when a CD was not needed, between him and his main hunting buddy (red dog on tail gate in 2nd pic). He has been on around 30 hogs. I never consider a dog finished, but he is a darn good youngster. He has never trashed on anything other than an armadillo, he has just recently found them tempting (he could care less about a deer). I live in Highlands, Tx. I will offer a 2 week trial as long as I don't have to travel at all, with cash in my hand. The dog will be picked up at my house when sold. He will be offered at $500 firm. I am not interested in any trades. Thanks for looking.....

Title: Re: BMC Yellow Brindle Male (pics) SOLD Post by: Caughtandhobbled on January 19, 2010, 12:07:32 pm ellis, no kin here....took me a minute to figure out why you asked. That is a young man that we took on his first hog hunt after he had served our great country, in the first picture. I do not know who was more proud of their first hog, the pup or him? I am old and fat, just not that pretty anymore :-[
Thanks for the comments on the dogs. Later... |
