My wife complains EVERY DAY about my dogs. Im usually on this forum while im at work ( like right now ) so she cant say sheet about that!  >:D She says i spend more time with my dogs than i do with her, and she wishes i would spend as much money on her as i do my dogs.  rolleyes So no, your not the only one!!  ;)

Start hanging out at the local beerjoint, then i'll bet she'll be wishin you were at home lookin on the forums.

I think most everybody has heard this, and if you havent you havent been married long enough or are extremely lucky and better hold onto what you got.  I get it all the time, you are gone when you are at work, then when you come home you are gone hunting, you spend too much money on hunting!!  Hahaha  If it wasnt hunting it would be something else. I love her but she can damn sure nag.

    Think they will ever figure out why we spend so much time in the woods?

 well like I said once my dog keep getting the pleague and  i divorced her  and they been fine

 but on the other hand  my wife to be ( cant spell feeyancie :-\)  sits  and reead all the post to with me and laughs her tail off

Sorry guys no problem over here!! 8)  although i dont hog hunt nearly as much as many of you guys do but  I am gone for weeks at a time during deer season.  One thing I do like is to drink the cold beer and get rowdy with my friends.   Its hell when you wake up in the morning and your like... oh crap what happened last nite?  And your just waitin to beetched at for something you said or did. I've figured out though if i can make thru the first few hrs i'm in the clear!!  ;D

i had one that love to go hunting with me other problems came up.....sooooooo hope i can another that likes it just as much as me

my wife came from a hunting family , she never complains , Im very lucky , she generally lets me do what I want when I want , I am very blessed

I will say mine has gotten alot better over time but she does not understand why I "need" so many dogs....

Find her some friends, or drag her along hunting or to all the bars in Malone and she'll get sick of you.

Everytime my wife says anything about why I "need" so many dogs, I just walk into her closet and start counting pairs of shoes.

When I finished building my kennels this past summer, I cut out and put on the kitchen table a picture of a brand new $50k Majek Xtreme boat.  When she asked about the picture the next morning, I just told her how I wanted to show her how much money I had saved by deciding to build new kennels instead of the boat I was thinking about.  As usual, she just rolled her eyes and walked off...

 Boys if you think that Im going to get in the middle of this one you aint thinken straight. I could wake up in the morning rolled up in a bed sheet with knots all over my head. But there will be flowers and card on my kitchen table sunday morning. And yall beter do the same. Besides my wife is on this board.

I told mine 39 years ago, I had these dogs when I met you and I'll have them when your gone. Now she tells me, you need to go hunting so you'll quit bitching.

You boys think y'all are the only ones with problems? You ought to hear chris whining and crying when I have my catch dog in the bed. Tater is good at keeping your toes toasty, but chris fails to see that. Its a good thing he doesn't have an issue with me being in the woods with my dogs or he would be the one sleeping in the dogloo...

Our dogs has pushed hubby onto the couch...lol they like the pillow and covers when it's cold.  And yes they are great toes toasters...

Literally the 1st thing I said to my wife when I met her was that I was always gonna have hog dogs, and not to ever nag at me about it.  She couldn't understand why I would bring that up so quickly.  Three years later we are married and I just sold my last dog..... I feel like I've been neutered.  Guess what, she still finds plenty to complain about.  Keep your dogs.  ;)

I'm on here just as much as Rick.......so I guesl I can't complain about anything...LOL!!

You know about 5 years ago a good family freind and hunting partner passed away from a heart attack at 73 the day after we had hunted with him and we had been hunting with him a couple times a week, that spring and into summer.  At his funeral his wife thanked us for hunting with him and said during the time we were hunting so often, it was the happiest she had seen him in a long time.  She also said that before they got married he told her that he was gonna go hunting allot and if she had a problem with that she should get out now.  Well they lasted till death do us part.  But Its most likely better said before you start talking about getting married.

I think you are truly blessed in marriage when you have a husband that doesn't complain about how many shoes, purses, or dogs you have.  I think women should remember that its much better for their man to be in the woods than in a bar.  And lets be serious, its not like you are at your best after you have been playing around for hours with dogs and hogs in the mud.  I'll come in and Autry will look at me and say, I love you babe but don't you want a shower right away from about 10 ft. away.  You gotta love a man that loves you like that.

My wife nags too.......How come i cant go...Yall caught more than my group...i didnt get to stick that one...Its a hard job but i keep her in check... ;D  :o

LOL...I constantly nag my husband about the fact that we don't spend enough time in the woods. I would hunt every day if I could. If there was any money in it, I think I hunt hogs for a living! So I guess yall are right... we are going to nag about something.

Im lucky I guess. My wife loves all my dogs and the only time she goes off one me is when I get one cut. Fortunately that is a rare occasion.
She is testing for a black belt soon so I don't argue with here much..............within her kicking range anyway ;D

My wife dont complain too much about me hunting. She goes when she can. But she knows not to complain about my dogs. She has horses and they get on my nerves just as much as the dogs do hers.

In my job, I get to hunt quite a bit during the week, taking customers. I also have a 22' Bay Boat for speck/red fishing. The most nagging I get is when she can't come because of her work schedule as a CPA.  I mean at times, it's real bad and she is practically crying that I can go and she can't.

Now, on the hog hunting scene, it's different. Like most, she doesn't understand what it takes to do it and can't seem to get interested in it. I keep her cause she makes more money than me!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I always said I wanted a women that would FEED MY DOGS AND SLOP MY HOGS  and I got her!! She is not for sale or trade!!

   I think I heard Pistol complain about the kitchen tiles being cold on her bare feet :o  I guess if she'll feed your dogs and slop your hogs, you're gonna have to put up with a little bitchin every now and then. ;D

a buddy of mine called and said he was sellin out due to his wife gripin  mine said he should find a new wife  i agreed   mine used 2 b the worst but im an excon  i work hard and raise her 2 kids from a previous marriage plus the 1 we had together  if that aint good enuff for her i would just go back 2 prison  she now feeds my dogs doctors them and pets rhem when im gone  she even gets em ready 2 hunt while im at work  so im gonna marry this girl 2 more times   just talk 2 them  they dont need all your time  they just need 2 know that ure loyal 2 them and that if push comes 2 shove they r 1st in ure life  and spend 3 or 4 nites a week with them evebn if its just 4 a few hours each time  u will see a difference

I sold most of my dogs and cut back hunting just so i didnt have to listen to it.... After about 2 months of that now she is telling me to go hunting ;D

mine used 2  now she takes care of my dogs and gets them ready 2 hunt 4 me     she knows how much i love doin this and how much my dogs mean 2 me   she bought my trackers 4 me   i just told her that she is my alpha dog and huntin doesnt mean nothin 2 me if i ever came home 2 an empty house   my wife changed my life 5 yrs ago  almost went back 2 prison and she saved me   and gave me 3 kiddos  now she wants me 2 hunt  she goes now and then    a woman just needs a lil of ure time boys  and she needs 2 know yhat u love her more than anything else    give them some of wut they want and see how much they give u in return  ill guarantee if she is worth anything 2 u and u do wut i said she will give u 10 times more support than you will ever give her and she will b happy 2 do it 4 u

If she draws air you can bet she's B'ing at some point in her life :o :D ;)

I sit at home 3 and 4 night a week and she still B@#$%s about it but every time she dont have to work and i say i am going she get in the truck and goes with me and while we are hunting she B!@#$ cuz she is cold but I sill love her no matter what so i will take a little nagging every now and then cuz i know the next weekend she eather will let me go or she will be going with me   ;D ;D ;D ;D

Not married...but b!tchin bout hunting is part of the screening process....like I always say...CULL HARD!  lol

 ;D I'm one of the lucky fella's. Melissa loves to hunt, and does pretty good with her rifle. I don't get hunt with dogs much anymore. But, when I do go hunting she don't say a word, except good luck. ;D Now day's I also have my daughter going with me. I'm hoping to get her trained up so there will be another lucky fella some day, just like me. ;D

I sure hate that there are alot of you fella's that get fussed at for hunting.  Guess my honey hit the jackpot!!!  I love hunting, love our dogs and not once have I ever Bi***ed about any kind of hunting that WE may do.  I think that the sound of our boys bayin in the distance is like music to my ears.  Hope that things get better for all yall guess some guys just have all the luck!  One way to win her over with the hunting starts by takin her with ya! If she wont go,...well, Ive never been tha type of girl so your own your own!!lol

Mine used to never mind me goin for the life of me i couldnt get her to go said she didnt want to see the dogs hurt.  Guess i could understand that.  Lost my good dog to neighbors poison got a couple new ones and poof old lady left....Now i have two the dont b**** or complain and as long as i feed them and spend a little time with them they lvoe me to death.  And they even try to find a hog or two...and the vet bills are cheaper than jewelry  ;)
