I met Wade yesterday to get a couple of dogs and he was a real straight up guy. I got in touch with him and we set a date and time. He was there 30 minutes early waiting on me and actually drove an hour farther than me because I had just got back from Austin. I could tell the dogs he brought me weren't trash just some pups he needed gone. I would recommend him to anyone wanting dogs. His user name on here is Bayrat Bro.

i talked to wade last night,after he got screwed by john myeres aka kirt jasper,cajainhawgs and most likely others.wade seems like a honest man but like many of us he got burned.what has the world came to that you can't take a man at his word.good luck wade on finding this fellow....

  I don't know who any of these people are y'all are talking about, other than there was a member removed by one of our admins last night for violating the dog trade policy. Nothing more, nothing less. 

Did someone go buy a dog based on the persons word, without seeing the dog hunt....then come to a public forum and raise hell about it?

Had the person actually hunted behind the dog before money was exchanged, would this have still happened?

You know what guys... I'm sick and tired of people coming on here bitching and whining about their dog deals gone bad.

It's nobody's business but the buyer and seller... we're gonna fix that problem. ;)

I know Mike and others on here are tired of explaining it to some.

READ THE RULES ON THIS MESSAGE BOARD. READ THE RULES ON THE DOG TRADE BOARD -IF YOU DON"T LIKE THE RULES LEAVE, IF YOU DON"T ABIDE BY THE RULES YOU WILL BE REMOVED as was someone last night for not abiding by the rules, and that is the TRUTH.

NOBODY is debating if the guy is good or bad, I am sure that all was said maybe true. That is not the reason anybody gets banned, its because they cannot abide by the rules.

BUT HOW DO YA LET THE OTHER HOG HUNTERS KNOW IF YOU CANT SAY IT HERE WHERE THEY CAN ALL SEE FREEDOM OF SPEACH RIGHT

Sad 2 see it go but problem solved!  :'(

There will always be dog jockeys as long as we use dogs for our sport and they will find a way to do their business one way or another.I don;t think it was removed as much to deter shady deals as much as it was because I to would get tired of having to babysit a specific area of the board repeatedly. I have never done any business on it but enjoyed reading and seeing the amount of dogs available in the mainland.

When i got to work early this morning i saw his post on here and i just knew it wasn't going to last long.  i bet Wade is a very good guy, in fact i know he is becuase he was watching everyone else's back on this forum.  I just think that we get a little to worked up about things and just act before we think.  Wade i'm sure knew the rules, but got his point across to atleast a few poeple.  i hope someone finds the guy and gets him right, and i am sure the admin hope that he is stopped as well, but this is a place for people to enjoy the talk's of hog doggin.  Either way your going to have bad people and good people in everything you do.  No one can blame the admins.  they have made it very clear in the past months on how they feel on this subject.

The dog trade board created some real issues for the moderators. Whoever brought it up in this post had it right when they likened moderating that section to babysitting. There were always problems in the dog trade board.

No one is arguing whether a person is good or bad. We had to enact rules for that section of the board, and we would be foolish to stick to the rules for some and let others slide with warning after warning. The bottom line was that the Dog Trade had specific rules, and that they would be enforced no matter if the intention of the violator was good, bad, or indifferent. That way there was no grey area, only black and white. It is unfortunate that folks got banned who were trying to do a service to others, but a violation is a violation no matter how you intended it. I'm sure yall can see the position it puts us in.

I think a board like this is a huge resource to all who use it. With that being said, I think that exposing those among us that are'nt straight up is a big service to everyone as a whole and will improve the sport overall. The Admin. has to draw the line somewhere, but we should be able to protect one another as well. How can we do it?

DID WHAT THEY DEEMED NECESSARY,HOLD SOMEONES HAND TO SHOW THEM THEY ARE NOT PLAYIN,OR B.S.N  THANKS FOR INCONVIENCING THE REST OF US WHO ENJOYED THIS TOOL THAT IS NOLONGER AVAILIBLE I SIDE WITH THE MODERATORS. THEY GAVE US TOOLS AND SOMEBODY DIDN'T KEEP UP WITH THEM IRRESPONSIBLE.

So many times on this board I've heard (there is strength in numbers) or (hog hunters need to stand together). When the $hit hits the fan, who is gonna stand up. We cant even get along on the damn internet, much less the real world.

In some ways I say good riddance of the Dog Trade. When you post something on there with location,pics,and a number, 10 different people will ask you for all of  that  information. Someone will call or post and try to low ball you and usually it's the same people time after time. You could post a pile crap for sale on there and undoubtedly someone will ask for pics and if you'll trade and then still try to low ball you. Im sorry its gone for those of us who are honest , but I can see how the Admin. would and did get tired of it.

Since we dont have a dog trade section...are there anyother web sites we can resort to.....that was the main reason I get on here everyday.  A very nice man lost his dogs and without that section I would not have been able to help him out with another dog.   Bring it back as classified reader ads with  no postings. Thanks!!

Go to Baydog.com , He might be a good guy but now he has hurt more folks than he helped. If he would of followed the rules all the way around he wouldnt of got screwed over and there would still be a dog trade to help folks get dogs and do what they love. He shoulda got a trial on the dog, he didnt so he cant be mad at nobody but himself and he shoulda kept it to himself and take it as a lesson.

Well its not just one Guy it been going on for awhile so u can't just blame him

Yea i know he was just the straw that broke the camels back but he knew he was breaking the rules when he was postin that stuff and nothing good can come of breaking the rules.

SOUNDS LIKE HE WAS TRYING TO HELP HES FELLOW HUNTERS  AND IM SURE HE KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN TO HIM WHEN HE DONE IT

If you don't know someone personally, the heck with a trial. You can still get screwed that way. Best thing to do is go hunt with the owner and the dog. There is always a slight chance the dog won't hunt the same for you but that is very slight. If the dog doesn't perform for the current owner, there is a good chance it won't perform for you either.
Try to buy dogs only from folks you know, good people tend to stick together. When buying from a "circle" of people, your chances of getting screwed go WAY down as a cheaters name travels fast and sticks with them.

I had a problem with not getting what I paid for and I contacted the admin and told them my problem.  I was not trying to have the admin get what I paid for but to let them know what happened.  I didnt post bad things about them because that wouldnt do anything but start a fight.  But the admin assured me that they would warn other people when he posted things for sale.  And I'm sure it happened because I've been pmd by the admin and  other people when I have posted questions about things for sale. (becareful, guys not trustworhty) There is a proper way to do things and we all know what they are.  Unfortunitly I think somepeople enjoy arguing on here and starting chit.

Here's the problem with these crooks that are ripping people off. Their names and e-mails are all fake. They use pre-paid cell phones which are discarded after they screw someone. They send a friend or their wife to meet you with the dog. These people know what they're doing. As long as people keep meeting them on the road somewhere to buy a dog, it will keep happening... and they know it.

DO NOT MEET SOMEONE AND GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY ON A DOG YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT!!!! GO SEE THE DOG HUNT AND BE SURE IT IS WHAT YOU WANT!!!!

I don't know how many times we say this, but people continue to do it and continue to get screwed.
