Title: Freeston County 3/3/10 (pic Heavy) Post by: TShelly on March 05, 2010, 08:55:53 am Big E (Van Dorn), Byron (blenox), Courtney, my girlfiend Candace and I went up to the Buffalo area on Wednesday. We've hunted this place before and its produced tons of hogs for us. So when right off the bat another boy thats suppossed to show up with a CD backs out, we know that we're kinda in a bind with only one CD but we make the best of everything and turn out just puppies for the first round. The oldest dog is an 18 month old red cur called Boogie. Eric also turns out his best young gyp Miss Anne and a catahoula gyp Jackie. I put my bmc Drake down and Byron has a dog or 2 down. The pups leave out from the trailer and show to be bayed .6 miles before we even have time to get ready. Byron and I zoom around to them and are able to get some great pics of this 200# boar hog...

(http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/baseball_10_03/DSCF3133.jpg) (http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/baseball_10_03/DSCF3132.jpg) (http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/baseball_10_03/DSCF3134.jpg) (http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/baseball_10_03/DSCF3140.jpg) (http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/baseball_10_03/DSCF3145.jpg) Well its about noon and the puppies are worn out. But we had caught 4 with them so needless to say we were happy. We're back at the trucks eating a sausage wrap and regrouping. Big E turns out his best 2 gyps Roxxy and Parvo, I put Fawn down and Byron puts his old brindle cur Clyde on the ground. We're sittin there bs'ing when it already shows the gyps to be bayed 600 yards from the trailer. Candace and I fly around to them and they have this nice boar hog backed up against a bruxh pile. As soon as we get there the hog breaks. The gyps were all pulling hair on him so I knew they'd set him down quick. he went about 400 yars back to the trailer and bayed in this pond... Clyde had a huge sow bayed forever but she broke just as the CD got there. By now its 3 and we had hogs and 4 wheelers scattered everywhere. We still had 4 finished male dogs in the truck that never even got a shot but rather than be there til midnight we called quits with these 5. Thanks for readin and good luck to everyone in the tourney this weekend!!! Is it just me, or is not the sexiest thing when chics go hog hunting? I love seeing my wife's blonde hair flapping in the wind while we tie up a hog! Title: Re: Freeston County 3/3/10 (pic Heavy) Post by: TShelly on March 05, 2010, 10:01:35 am Appreciate it Glenn
Richard- yea it's awsm up there especially when you only hunt abt 500 acres of a 5000 acre ranch. Thts great abt Train, good luck this weekend! Cajunjag- I agree.. It's nice having a personal assistant that will re-beer you, keep you suppleid with tie ropes, take all the pictures and an occasional massage in the downtime :) Title: Re: Freeston County 3/3/10 (pic Heavy) Post by: raider54 on March 05, 2010, 10:07:03 am Great pics and good story, keep up the good work.

Haha Marshall she's already claimed my new CD Vice and my two pups Rooster and Moon so she's well on her way! I figure she oughta be good for a bag or two of dog food a month now lol and I just let Byron catch the little ones. He is quick though, those first two big hogs Byron and the CD caught at the same time ha!! I was the first one on the 250 boar tho :) Title: Re: Freeston County 3/3/10 (pic Heavy) Post by: Marshall on March 05, 2010, 02:07:43 pm Ha I may have to confirm that with Byron. :D Who's brindle dog is that in the 1st pic?
