Title: Custom Hunting Trailer Post by: Bryant on March 11, 2010, 09:36:52 am I'm thinking of changing to a side-by-side ATV, and my without major modification my current trailer won't haul it. Figured before I start hacking on it, I would see if anyone might be interested in buying and I'll start over from scratch.
The trailer I have is 18' long. Will haul 2 four wheelers easily (one side loaded, one on the front). It has six 2' wide dox boxes (which are lighted). These boxes are large, and work well to kennel dogs over a weekend hunt. The trailer has running water with a 6-gallon tank. It has a hog box on the back with doors that slide each way for loading / unloading. Although the smaller trailer isn't for sale, the large trailer is also set up and wired to tow another behind it. It's been added since these pics, but there is also a spare tire and metal storage box mounted on the front. I also just re-wired and installed all new lights front to back. Before anyone asks, you load the top four wheeler from the back. The small ramps used to load the side machine lay over the opening and there is another set of 10' telescopic ramps that attach to the back. The trailer is very well built, and fairly heavy. It was blasted and re-painted last summer. I would like to get $2,900 which is under what the materials would cost to build the same. I was impressed with the craftsman ship and thought that went into this trailer. It is solid and very well made.
PS: Ive been shopping crew rangers for a couple weeks. Even with "buddy" deals, Haufpaiur in Goatrape cannot be beat (thanks Rex). I was qouted 12K out the door for a 10 model. That included tire slime. Title: Re: Custom Hunting Trailer Post by: grizz07903 on March 11, 2010, 06:25:25 pm Can send pics to 903 754 5702
