I love it! ;D So, now i am wondering just how many of us are on here as members? I think that the female membership has doubled in the last year? ;D Any one know for sure?

Ive seen these girls with mud from one end to the other and pig blood all over their hands and feet. And get home and cleaned up ready to go to the dance and pretty as a picture. Now how can a man do better than that.

Can't wait till we find a good sitter for them that way we can enjoy some time in the woods.

I have female friends, but very few that I would care to take hunting. Crystal Ward seem to be the only ones that I know that actually have female hunting friends. The others like Stacie, Mandi & myself are usually just solo, hunt with the guys. I can't say I have any reason that I wouldn't cause I like Stacie and Mandi a bunch, but when I see them and hunt with them its usually a group get together.

J/K I don't know why we don't have more girls on the hunts with us. I'm sure that part of the reason is that our hunting buddies are married and their significant others like to hunt, but they aren't just itching to go every single time. I have to think that single guys get more girls into the woods because the girls are into the guys. Not meaning that in a bad way, but ladies know what I mean - the "honeymoon phase" of a new relationship. I'm not meaning to sound sexist or anything, but there are some girls that I'd just as soon not be in the woods with me. They are the ones that won't help with anything and are constantly complaining about this or that. I'm sure there aren't any of THOSE girls on ETHD because ETHD Ladies get to the bay and know what to do when they get there. I may not always be the first at the bay there's no way I can beat my two brothers and my dad all the time but I love being there and I would rather be there than anywhere else. I have two sisters and they are not into this kind of stuff. Some of the guys I dated would find out about what I like to do on the weekends and they thought it was too "hardcore" I'm glad I never brought any of those sissy's home cause they would have gotten picked on. Its hard finding someone who likes to do the same things and the girls on here who have are very lucky!

He taught me everything I know, after my parents separated I moved to Texas to live with him. I was 14 when he taught me how to cook, how to tell when boys are bs'n and how to skin a hog! I guess maybe that's why I'm still single I don't let bs slide! Lol And see my dad is cuban and we like to raost pigs its a tradition for us so gutting and skinning a hog is like another day at the office for me.

J/K about the hunting part. Thomas and I met through Hog Hunting, been married over 8 years now and we are both extremely passionate about it, even when he goes hunting with his friends in a seperate direction I am hunting, it is all very GOOD, and friendly competition amoungst us. My 18 daughter is now doing the same, can take her dog and go another direction and hunt too.
Thomas' dogs do strike more skunks then my dogs do though! ;) and he can beat me to the bay in a foot race,oh and he will be the one to swim to a caught hog and I will let him. AFTER THAT GET THE DOGS FED, DO WHAT (WE) GOTTA DO WITH THE HOG, NOTICE I SAY WE BECAUSE AS I RECALL IM NOT THE ONLY ONE THAT WENT HUNTIN AND SPOILIN SOMEONE TOO MUCH IS NOT A GOOD THING, THAT LEADS FOR HEY IMMA TAKE ADVATAGE OF THIS BROAD. WE HAVE TO MAKE YALL KNOW THAT YALL HAVE TO DO SOMETHING... AND THEN AS FAR AS PASSIN OUT IM RIGHT THERE WITH YA, I WAS DRINKIN A LIL MYSELF MOST LIKELY AND I PROBABLY SWAM TO THE HOG SO IM PROBABLY MORE TIRED AS IT IS... SO ANYWAYS THERE ARE WAYS ALL AROUND THAT AND THATS NO REASON TO TRY TO LEAVE A FEMALE AT HOME THAT LIKES TO GO HUNTIN.. THEY MAY GET A LIL PI$$ED AND A HARD CORE HOG HUNTIN FEMALE ISNT ALWAYS GONNA TAKE IT EASY WHEN IT COMES TO THAT POINT... HOPE THIS WAS SOME HELPFUL ADVICE :D :laugh: ;D :)
