Title: hunt with wadepat2 Post by: txmaverick on March 23, 2010, 10:08:36 pm Wade came in yesterday to Ingram Tx for a hunt and to look at a dog. We had a good hunt; he got to watch his son's new dog Rocky do an awesome job on 2 hogs. Most of all I will say he is a very nice young man with high Christian values that impressed me, I see he has posted in dog trade looking for a catch dog and I believe he and Taylor would make a great home and hunting partners for any dog.
Don't be letting Rocky sleep in anymore hotel beds that just isnt right for any hog dog I dont care how proud you are or how much they bark in the parking lot. That is just to funny some how I knew he would end up in the room. Wade nice to meet you and goodluck to you, Taylor and Rocky; hope you find that catch you are looking for. The hunt was great and your family was a pleasure to be around. Rocky is going to make us a great dog. After hunting with a catchdog for the first time I dont see how I can go back to shooting them. Yes old Rocky got in one of the twin beds but I finally figured out that I could hook his leash under the foot of the bed and after that he was out like a light on the floor. I didnt think the hotel people would like a hogdog straight off a hunt to be in the bed :o but I had to get some sleep to drive the 9 hours home so we comprimised.
