Title: Kennel and Puppy Pics Post by: matt_aggie04 on October 09, 2007, 09:44:50 pm Here are some pics of my pups in "their" new kennels. There are still a few things that need to be done to call them finished but they have come pretty far since I bought the land a few months ago. I am real happy with this set up and will have my older dogs over there from across the street in the next few days.

The only problem I am having is trying to re-teach my cur pups to crap on the dirt. Each run has 8' of concrete and 16' additional dirt but they have figured out when they dig at the edge on the dirt they hit the hot wire and associate that shock with the dirt and have quite going out there. I feel pretty bad, poor guys just live on the concrete. Boo figured it all out and craps like she should at the far end of the kennel but they are too wimpy I guess and are scared of the wire. That was nearly 5 years ago :o That little black dog "crow" was a real nice dog that I enjoyed hunting behind and died way to young unexpectedly. That yella dog was his sister and I have no clue what ever happened to her. The white dog is still alive and kicking I think somewhere south of Houston.

The roof on my kennel is about 6 inches from the pannel and my BMC climbs from kennel to kennel. A sight to see how he does it. You can see him suck his belly in to get between the roof and pannel.
