Title: coyote dog races Post by: Caddo co. hog dog on May 10, 2010, 08:46:11 am My cousins run greyhounds during the winter months and was looking for somethin to do during the summer.. This is what they come up with... They ran a lure (looks like a real yote) just off the road and ya dump dogs on the road from your truck. The track is a 1/4 mile -/+ They dont run muzzles or well didnt. I was there and really enjoyed it.. The races will be Saturday May 22nd at 2pm. There is no entry fee or trophy's, just a fun time! If enough dogs show up they will run seasoned dogs in a group and pups in another group. They run 3 dogs per race and take the winners from each race and redraw them to run against each other all the way down to the final 3 dogs. Title: Re: coyote dog races Post by: Caddo co. hog dog on May 12, 2010, 01:07:38 am best i remember it was a red stag looking dog.. way to many names to remember any of the dogs names.. yall come out and have a good time.. it was last time and im sure it will be this time.. and for the guys with younger dogs.. this is the place to train because its actually the same thing except the yote is tied to a long string.. bring the whole family out.. lots of fun!

I can't wait to see photos and find out what mix (or purebred) wins the whole deal. Drag racing sight hounds just seems like it would be a blast.
