I picked up a bottle of black gold to try this weekend. I was woundering if anybody uses this stuff and if it really draws in hogs?

if there are hogs in the area then yes it will bring them over to the tree or stump to rub. its not a majic potion to bring hogs to spot where there aint any sign of them for miles. i used the old oil out of my diesel tck and it worked just as good as blackgold. the olny + blackgold has is that it has a sweat smell to it. at $33gal for engine oil i found a sec use for it to help the pigs in the area get rid or parisites and to keep them in my area. that was till the water flooded the lake so bad and drove them pigs somewhere else.

I use the old oil out of my truck also and seems to make a pretty good rubbing post. For some reason them fellars in the green and tan uniforms get kinda upset about it. You can't make everyone happy.
