My old black dog had her pups last night, 5 males and 5 females. My goal with this cross was to combine her hunt and hustle with his nose and bottom... Tweety has a pretty good bottom herself. ;) Both have also produced some real good dogs in the past. The coloring on a couple of them make you wonder what kind of snakes were in the wood pile on the parent's side. ;D

Good lookin pups ! If you really want to know you aught to DNA Buck  there's a guy on here called Outlaw that got a red curr dog he owns  DNAed turns out I think he's close to half hound I think he did it through Jeffers I 'm curious how expensive it is

Yellar, i'm not that worried about it. We've got a pretty good foundation started from the Tweety/Winchester cross. I'd like to see how these pups turn out and keep all future breedings within these dogs.

As long as they keep producing some good dogs... maybe one day we'll have something.

Very nice Mike, they look good.  After just raising my ten I am sure am glad to be on this side of it!  I am telling you ten is a handful.  Them holesteen pups might be the best ones in the litter  ;D  I am partial to the black one with the trim on it but I bet just about any of em will work out.

Sounds like you have a common problem....eventually 20 to 30 dogs on your yard is a must!

On a more serious note I think the breeding makes this sport alot of fun, 2 years ago I would hunt anything that would catch a hog, now I have to raise them..Partly for the sport and partly b/c one bad night that wrecks everything puts most people back on baydog/ the crapshoot of not being able to recreate your good line of dogs. Pups look good Mike.  I actually like them spots!  I've been trying to get John to breed Tweety's sister Ruby for years!!  Maybe one day I'll talk him into breeding her.  Its been several years since I've hunted behind Tweety.  Sure miss her hustle.  I'm sure her & Buck will be a great cross.  Good luck with the pups!

Good lookin pups. I have one of tweety's puppies from several years ago. He is one of my best dogs and always has plenty of hunt in him. I just had a litter out of him and they have alot of color too.

Thems good lookin pups, don't matter what they look like, same thing happen to me and Barrett got both of my off collored pups and now I am trying to get them back.

nice pups.... I had the same thing happen to me with the first litter from my favorite line of mtn curs. I got one pup that was white with spots. Must of been walker from way back. anyway, those pups turned out pretty good.
A little walker in the mix might be a good thing... :)

Here is what they may look like. The momma is full cat and I aint real sure of what the daddy is. Im thinkin great dane but it really dont matter cause he is one huntin son of a gun. Couldnt ask for a better dog. People call him a dalmation, milk cow and a few other names. I love my black and white dog.You got some good lookin pups right there.

I like em! Be careful about those off colored pups. They are notorious for turning out to be the "Dingers" of the litter from what I have seen.

Here's the pups at 6 weeks old... all 10 made it and are doing fine. There's 4 real nice black and tans in the bunch.

The two black ones are both male. There 2 females and 2 males in the black and tan.

We had two sets of 3 generations on a hunt last weekend.  This is Lizzie, Chili, and Dan.  Lizzie and Chili are both cur, and Dan is Plott x cur.

Mandi loves her Lizzie dog and wanted a Buck x Tweety pup that resembles Lizzie.

There is a chance there might be a cross soon out of the same line to produce 3/4 of the same dogs as the winney x tweety pups.  Different parents, but alot of the same blood.  As soon as de_ gets me the check to leave the gates open we will be underway. HA!

Nope, he wont sell her.  There is a better chance of getting Blinky away from him than her.  But de is just paying me to leave Blinky's kennel open when she comes in.  LOL

And no Matt, no head way on John...he has thought about it but never been serious.  He says if I raise the puppies he will do it, but I dont know if he would.

Chris their brother looks just like them.  However my male that is the brother to you Micheal pup is quite a bit smaller than yours but maybe he just hasn't hit his growth spurt yet.  I will post a pic later.

So you got the black & tan (or reverse...or saddleback..or whatever) out of the Buck X Brandy litter?  Interesting... Was the pup mostly black when born and the yellow has lightened over time?

Can you post a better pic of their heads when you get a chance?

I believe Matt's saddleback/reverse bmc is out of Tweety and the yellow pup is out of Brandy

If that's true Matt, then did ALL the Brandy X pups come yellow?

Yeah that yella gyp, Thelma, is out of Brandy and Buck. There were 10 pups in that litter, only five pups are still alive and all of them are yellow. Derrick got the dark dark male and he turned a red tint like his momma.

Matt, what kind of boots are those standing up on the left of those Lacrosse boots? Are those snake boots?

I like ole Leroy there Bryant, Mandy was calling him Angus but Leroy fits him well. 

Matt those brown boots are Justin snake boots.  Probably the most comfortable boots I own and I have walked A LOT of miles in them quail hunting and hog hunting and they are still in good shape and suprisingly water proof.  I have had them for about 6 years and they are just as good as when I bought them.

Gonna have to try a pair of those. I didnt know they made snake boots that were actually waterproof..

Pups are getting a little rangey... they're a few hundred yards back in the woods behind my house. ;D

Red looks so much like his daddy it ain't even funny!  They all look good man, my pup looks exactly like youR duke dog. The next six months should be very interesting with these pups.

    Here are some updated pics of Vega and Leddy.  I have been letting them bay either the sheep or the cows some in the evenings.   It seems they bay and stay more focused when they are by themselves, than if they are out with each other, or another dog.

Love the look of these two high tan pups.Man they will knock your eyes out.If they turn out as good as they look,you should have some dandys.Perfect put together dogs.Wish mine were built like that.

My two are doing great!!  Dizzy has been on a few hunts and will bay the HECK out of a hog.  T-Bird has been a couple of times and shows some serious range.  I'm super excited about these two.

DE, Just about right you get these High bred fancy dogs for hardly nothing, cause some folks like you for some reason ????? and You still cannot Afford some longer two by fours to make a bigger rack for them dogs to ride on that 4 wheeler? where is your catch dog gonna ride when mine is pinched up trying not to fall off ?

I guess gonna have to let Average size Logan start carrying my catch dog around huh?

I'm saving for a wedding & a honeymoon.  I'll buy some new 2x4s when we get back from Costa Rica ;D

After the hogs we've been catching with her, I'm sure Average Size Logan will haul her around in his new fancy ride anytime!
