Title: 3 good boars this past weekend! Post by: TShelly on July 14, 2010, 01:56:22 pm Friday I started Summer school So I wasnt actually able to help catch the hogs; but I stopped by Big E's early, dropped off my 10 month old Briar pup and helped collar everything up... Within minutes of turning out by the house, Van Dorns old dogs had a nice boar spinning. Its been awhile since we've hunted and the cur dogs were felling froggy and quickly caught him
First boar went 220# (http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/baseball_10_03/742c7946.jpg) (http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/baseball_10_03/09dec250.jpg) Boogie and the dogs had another one bayed hardly 5 minutes later and he was a nasty one.. He put a whooping on the dogs and in the end Big E had to stick the hog as he was by hisself! The big boar killed a 11 month old black pup and cut just about everything else. I came when I got out of class and hepled dr everything and get the hogs out of the woods Second boar went 270# (http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/baseball_10_03/58c9c790.jpg) (http://i420.photobucket.com/albums/pp289/baseball_10_03/4e34c6d7.jpg) On Sunday Big E, My girlfriend Candace and I went out to Trinity. We found a nice waller around a feeder and put Boogie down on the track, within a few hundred yards he had worked it out and had a big silver boar hog sat down! The calvary got therre and after a little rodeo we had th3e big man caught. Didnt put him on the scales, but he was in the 240-250# range.. Clint we havnt been huntin much at all since i got your number.. I was actually gonna invite you over to hunt this last weekend but we were trying to make it a short run!
