I thought this was a funny video!!We had just moved a bunch of cows and seen some hog sign so we decided to go back and see if we could get one bayed!!Crystal took her camera and Christy said she was going to catch the hog!!We did not have a catch dog with us!!Crystal has a dog that lives in the house that we do not use for nothing other than catching bad cattle he has been broke off of hogs she said she would make him catch the hog!!He walked up and was like what the hell he did catch it after he bayed it that was funny!!Then the hog was in the mud and we let the girl get all muddy I did pull her out but never got muddy!That catch dog lets go on command on cows I have let him catch a few hogs but he usally bays before he catchs!! I guess he was trying to figure out if that hog was going to be worth the butt whippen he thought he would get after the catch! ;D I was waiting for him to look back over his shoulder with that "are you sure you want me to do this" look on his face but he never did.

Hey nija I have another video where Rabbit does just that he stops and looks back oh is this what I am supposed to do!!We try to keep him from catching cause the pups bay hogs behind the house all the time he has came back cut up since I have let him catch a few hogs!!One day day he ain't going to come back!! It's got to where if I here the pups bayed I start looking for him!!

I just relized that all the dogs in that video was sons and daughters of Ike except for one she was out of a littermate to Ike!!! So they would all be related!!  2 of them belonged to Bruce!!!

Well that sounds like a problem. I can take one for the team and put one or two of those dogs on my feed bill ;D I do need a couple good yella dogs too.

But Dub they don't have any Dogo in them!!LOL ;D Dang if a Dogo is worht $1500 what is one of them worth!!I just could not help it I had to do that after the Dogo thread!!LOL

Hey Nija that same group of dogs just drove 20 head of woods momma cows right through the hog sign!! We  got the cows to a trap and went back and the same dogs left out trailing and caught 4 hogs that evening!!We only had the video of that one!!
The dogs rolled out and bayed a 100 lb boar!!Rowdy my 10 year old said he was going to catch it when I got there he was standing in his sadlle screaming I need a catch dog!!I said get your arse off and catch that hog he did but was not happy about it!!

Christy was riden a colt and the colt bucked her off!!That was funny also!!We had a blast day!!But there is not a time we go in the woods and not have fun!!

Oh, if only we could all live the "Ward" lifestyle for a day. :D

Well I got one for sale his name is rabbit he is a movie star he lives in the house and will eat all the nutty bars if you leave the box out!! he catchs cows! If you leave and don't tell him by he will eat your back door down!

That is pretty dang impressive Chance! Picking up a hog track after running cattle through the sign is one thing but not going back until later that evening to do it is another.  :o Careful who you tell that too. Some folks will accuse you of crossing your curs with a hound!  rolleyes lol

It sounds like yall had a blast. I would have paid money to see Christy loose her seat on that colt but she didnt look to worse for the wear in the video! The last time I took a spill on a horse, I was laid up for a few day and walked funny for weeks! Those gals are tuff but I wont tell them that!!

I remember another boy was starting a fight with me. I told him I let my sister handle the light stuff. I stepped back and let my sister beat him up! He never messed with me again ;D My little girl has that fight in her too! Tuff guys do let the girls do it all if they want to. Tuff guys are not threatened by a girl that can get stuff done either.

What??????  Why did Crystal ask that I send a deposit of $1500. then?  I sent it all in CASH in a white envelope.  It should be easy to spot because I wrote "This envelope contains $1500 cash, please be careful" on both the front and back.   Please send it back to me if you really don't have any pups to sell.  Man, I had my hopes up too.  I'll just go look at the pound for a yellow dog, I'm sure it will turn out the same as that line bred pup you advertised anyway.

Which sucks because I was sure looking forward to getting one of those little hog machines..  Good looking little things though, can't wait to see them up and running! Should be striking by 6 weeks old ;)

Shhh don't tell anyone but Ninja is supposed to get a pup out of my gyp and Van Dorns black dog... Lol a quarter hound!! I'm hoping to get a sold male out of the black dog and a female outta your line or similar woodruff dogs and eventually breed th hound out of them.. Long term plans; sure can't beat dogs from that ranch though!

That would not be good for my nerves. I've never touched a live hog. If you sent me a real hog dog, I'd be forced to touch a live hog. I don't know that my heart could take it.
