Title: Re: ??? Puppies losing their voice ??? Post by: uglydog on August 14, 2010, 01:11:51 pm figure out why they are barking? at what? Block the view, change the scenery, play a radio to block the noises that they hear that causes them to bark,
I can't tell you why your dogs are barking so I can't fix that, figure out WHY/WHAT then figure the solution some reasons my dogs bark, toad swimming in their water, gun shots in the distance, noises from the highway, something going on in the chicken coop, coyotes are close by, hog in the pen squealing are they barking at each other playing? I will move them and see if that helps. Thanks for your help!

Post by: Reuben on August 15, 2010, 12:39:46 pm I open the back door and holler haya and follow up with 3 pumps from the daisy...After a while they won't bark unless it is leggit. Once or twice with the daisy and after that just shoot in the general direction and it works just as well.

Post by: djhogdogger on August 15, 2010, 09:59:10 pm One time our bassett hound got on a 24 hr. barking jag! >:( He wouldn't stop for nothing, then after about 4 days of barking I went outside and heard him trying to bark but nothing much was coming out! :D I laughed and laughed because i was soooo happy that he finally couldn't annoy me any more. He has his voice back but he doesn't use it near as much anymore. :D
