EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

The wife and I spent the weekend in Austin where our Son Jake made a Parachute jump for his Yellow Ribbon Ceremony, He is headed out for Afghanistan this time he went to Iraq for a year two years ago. I sure hate to see him go but at least we are getting our Baby Boy home from Iraq on this comming Saturday he has been there the last 10 months. I believe our oldest is going to Afghanistan in January, he is a Hellicopter Pilot. Laurie and I sure are proud of them. Attached is a link to a News interview of my wife and fellow Hog Dogger. I thought she was pretty hot on TV. After all she is a 47 year old GRANDMOTHER of 4 :o :o :o
Please Pray for Jake he has a tough year ahead of him. :'(

Thanks for all the kind words, I cant help but think about soldiers all the time, 3 of our 5 sons are soldiers, my wife was a medic in the Army, and I am a retired wounded warrior! I wish I could go on one more deployment, but my wife tells me all the time "Honey you have passed the tourch, its thier time now" but it sure is hard to watch them walk away knowing it will be a long time before you see them again. Jake is also my camera man, and video editor, I hope his little brother can pick up where he left off......lol

Kool! It is great to know that we are really sending troops over to aide in a movement, for the afgans to get on there feet.

Paul, you and your wife did a great job raising those boys and you sure have to be proud of them for serving our great country. Like you said, sometimes I wish I could go on one more tour but we can't. We will keep your sons in our prayers and My God Bless Them and Protect Them. It must be as much as a parent can bear sending their children off to war. My prayers are always with our soldiers and they will be with you and yours also Raider!

Paul, your sons are in my and my family prayers. We talked Boit them some when I was up there huntin with y'all. And I could tell by how Paul talks a out his kids, how proud he is of them. Keep in touch with me , let me know how things are goin up your way.

Folks, My wife and I want to thank you for all your kind words, Prayers and support. The Bible says "Sons are like arrows in an archers quiver and blessed is he who's quiver is full"   I have read that my whole life, now I know what it means!

Our prayers will be with your sons as they are for all those who serve our country.
I think most of us (myself included) take for granted sometimes the freedom that we have and what it takes to be free. The sacrifice is high and I have much respect for anyone and everyone who fights for our freedom......

Our hearts and prayer will be with you and your family.  Your son is very much appreciated.  I remember when my son was in the Air Force and the day they deployed him.  I was so proud of him and the rest of his team that went.  Congrats on getting your other son home.  Thanks to both you and your wife for raising such outstanding young men.  God be with ya'll.
