I got a dog cut friday night right in his flank area and a little towards his ribs ... I have been lettin the water run on it for about ten minutes at a time three or four times a day since. I have him on antibiotics but needing to know what else I can do for him to get him healed up. I looked at atwoods today for some granulex with no luck finding any. 

I had a mare run smack into a t-post a few months back, the cut flap was as big as my hand and with hydro therapy and then PINK LADY every day or two you can now hardly tell she ever had a scratch.  I did the same treatment to one of my dogs when he got shot a while back and again hardly a scratch.  Good luck no matter what you use! Hope he heals quickly.

Look for some stuff called vertercyin.  The stuff works wonders on pokes and cuts.  I have even used it on a bad cut I got on my arm and it worked like a champ. If you can't find that, nu-stock is not a bad plan B.   

SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT ATWOODS CARRIED UNDERWOODS. IT'S A CUT AND HEAL THAT YOU USE ALONG WITH BAKING SODA OR BAKING POWDER, NOT FOR SURE WHICH IT IS AWESOME STUFF.  IF ATWOODS DOESN'T HAVE JUST GOOGLE IT.  I THINK IT'S LIKE $25 FOR A BOTTLE.

I've used this and it works great! I would have to say the best I used so far!

If you guys have used cut heal and the other meds are better.....Then those other meds must be awesome. If you have compared the two and the other is better, what is the name and where can I get it?

Used correctly, cut heal has been the best I have used. However, I am open to what is best for my dogs.

If cut heal didn't smell so bad I would use it on me... :)

We use liquid wound spray from the feed store. I seems to do great.

This is the mix I have used for years, it may not be any better than anyone elses stuff but I have seen great results every time

1 part liquid cut heal
1part allum (powder)
1 part suplher (powder)

Mix it all up in a bowl or cup, it should be kinda pasty in substance, dab it on, for a couple of day's, never felled me yet

Sounds like to me you are doing it right bud.  Hydro therapy and antibiotics will work great, may take some time but it will heal up the best the method youre using.  If you are doing hydro therapy, then I wouldnt use cut n heal spray or anything like that.  Hydro therapy heals from the inside out, while cut n heal heals the outside.  just my .02

 If he can get to it to lick it he will keep in clean and will heal the best. Keep up the antibiotics and all will be good.
