Title: nylon leads? Post by: Jeff on September 01, 2010, 12:52:22 pm i like to use the nylon leads with a heavy brass snap at each end and the ring. i have a fiest squirrel dog and i want to use the same type lead. it doesnt work to well to use 5 lbs of chain on a 15 lb dog.
anyone know where i can get a lighter weight version of the same lead? Title: Re: nylon leads? Post by: sportsman on September 01, 2010, 01:06:57 pm cut off the s hooks and get a smaller chain

Post by: Lone Star 88 on September 01, 2010, 07:05:12 pm Go to tractor supply buy there double ply nylon leads, a one inch welded ring, and a matching easy snap. Cut the handle end with a box cutter slip the tree ring down the lead and put the snap in the handle. Take it to a shoe, or a boot and saddle repair shop. They will resew it back in place for a few dollars. I have four. Plus cable leads. Sidney.
