Title: 18' shopmade trailer Post by: Shoemaker on September 09, 2010, 10:45:48 pm I have an 18' shopmade trailer for sale. Bought it off a rancher in August. Never used it, just bought it somewhat cheap and tried fixing it up best I could. It has all new lights and wiring. I replaced the old 2000 lb jack with a brand new bulldog 5000lb jack. Wire brushed the metal frame and repainted it with Valspar gloss black. Painted the rims and stained the boards. Many small little extras, reflection tape..etc. However like I said I personally never used it for anything, the man I bought it from said he used it for his fencing company and put material up at the front and his bobcat on the back. Idk how much it can hold but it a five lug axles and as a (rule of thumb) that should be around 3000lb each axel so around 6000lb total. The only down side that I can see is it is narrower than normal I would guess about a one foot narrower than a normal trailer. The trailer is not currently registered only for the fact that I am not using it, however it should not have any problem getting registered Asking $1400 firm cash. Trailer is in Floresville Tx (30 miles south of san antonio)
