Title: 9/13/10 hunt with DaisyDog(PICS) Post by: blakebh on September 15, 2010, 04:34:58 pm We dropped the dogs at around 8:30 hoping to get on one quick so maybe we could get home at a decent hour! Dogs on the hunt were Zig, Daisy, Pepper and my pup Red also Catch dogs Girl and Jane. We only walked for about 20-30 minutes then Phillips dog Zig bayed a few hundred yards away and then Daisy then Pepper. I think we let the Catch dogs go at around 60 yards, but not sure cause Phillip had the Garmin. Anyway they sealed the deal and we got it stuck and called it a night. It was a young boar that went maybe 120 lbs. We walked back to the truck and loaded the dogs then went back and drug it out for some pics. Phillip also showed me how to field dress it cause I never had before and I wanted to take it to a buddy to load the freezer. We were done and back at Phillips house at around 9:30pm. This was my pups second hog in the woods and he did real good! He was gettin gritty with the grown dogs and it made me real proud. LOL
