Title: Des (Mr. HG) Parker Pup Post by: elliscountyhog on October 27, 2008, 01:55:01 pm Well i have had her for a little bit now and i guess its time to go ahead and give her a little reconigtion... ;).
She has found and bayed her own hog 3 times, and has stuck with one for over 5 miles.... ;D. I was not on this hunt however she went hunting with Lucy saterday while i was at the lease. well they droped the dogs and her and lucy ran toward the river and started baying well as they made it to the bay they heard the hog but it was thick and tried to get closer for the cd and as they did the hog broke and ran well there was one more bark heard from missy from that point till they were found.. As they tracked to them they came back after tracking on long range and had exceded the 5 mile mark ( straight down the levi on the river no how a crow flies). It was now bout 3pm when they were found coming back in and picked up 3miles from where droped out and she never missed a step ;D The hog was not caught but the morral to the story is Missy was born March 13 2008 ;D I walked out this morning and she was ready to roll!! ;D Title: Re: Des (Mr. HG) Parker Pup Post by: Mr. HG on October 27, 2008, 05:31:26 pm Richard I hope that story is true but a good friend of mind just had his rangy dog run over 3 miles went off roughly 3000 acres and crossed a FM road and got hit and killed he was 16 months old.Its nice to give all the credit to the parker dogs but the Dam is a Dan Moody dog she is out of Jan and Luke I think. I have a half sib to your pup out of Dans Jack dog named Jackson that is 15 months old that is making a pretty good dog himself he has started two hogs himself. I hunted them Friday I will post some pictures of the hunt in a minute and tell the story later own.Thats awsome also the dog I'm letting you use is from Dan as well.Out of that litter of 6 two are being put on cows one is working both ways more cows though and 3 are being put on hogs.
