Title: 10-13-10 hunt in Kaufman Post Oak Bottoms. Post by: KaufmanHogDogger on October 14, 2010, 07:22:03 am well me and Gene Hagler went out last night to let the dogs run and didn't get to let them run long. We weren't 15 min into the hunt when they struck. one dog barked then two then three then all of them. when we got there we could see it was going to be a good fight cause he was a pretty good size one. The dogs had him bayed on the other side of the fence so we just sat back and watched to see if he would come to us before we let the cd go. sure enough he did that ol boar keep trying to break and he keep hitting that fence and getting thrown back in to the pack of dogs we had, look like a wwf wrestling match.. well when he came out and we saw him throw one of the pups we had out there we let ol Gus loose and bam we had him.. turned out to be a nice one 245lbs had a old ice house scale with us.turned out to be a good hunt all in all and got a nice boar out of it and got to let the pups work some.
