Title: Back Yard Boar
Post by: EJ on October 31, 2007, 10:59:00 pm
I shot this boar on Sept 19 hanging around my sows in the pasture .... he was 360# on the scales .... he was really wide and I wish I had taken more pics from different angles  :(

Im sure I we have stuck bigger but he was plenty big for my yard

Good Looking boar.  Did you wash him for the pic?   It sure made his hair stand up and look good!

I actually washed him to get the hair free of blood and dirt for the taxidermist .... the standing hair was just a bonus I 'spect  :)

The uppers and lowers are the real ones.  I told them NOT to pull them out to make them look bigger.  I was very pleased with the way it turned out ... I have seen lots of mounts that look like I might have done myself.  ;D
