Title: Deer tag cautions!!!!!! Post by: slimpickins on November 15, 2010, 06:11:38 pm I know someone who killed a good buck this past weekend.
Took it to a processor Sunday morning. Waited in line, 4 trucks ahead of him unloading. By the time he got unloaded the Game Warden showed up to check on things. The warden checked about 20 deer, licenses, tags and hunters. He recieved a Class C citation for not having written in the log on the back of his license. Although the deer was properly tagged, he'd omitted the logging of the tag. Went to see the judge today and it cost him $160. Guess I've been lucky but it will be filled in from now on when the tags filled out. Just don't want to see any honest folks get slapped for this deal. Title: Re: Deer tag cautions!!!!!! One was just checked at the gas station, he had a tag missing and no info filled out and got a ticket. I fill mine out now before I rip my tag off so I can't forget.
