I hate Freakin cows!! Ok here is the story  I'm sittin in the dang deer blind, been here bout an hour and a half, and I'm surrounded by cows, red ones, black ones, gray ones, brindle ones, heck, I'm sure there are prolly purple and green ones floating around here somewhere. I've got a three way fight between two black angus bulls and a herford bull going on my right side and 5 head of momma cows battling over the corn i spread out going on my left side with the calves bouncing around and buttin heads in between. THIS SUCKS!!

When I complain about my boys and hunting he just says Moooooo. When I was a kid I was in a blind watching for deer and the cows showed up. I threw rocks, sticks and mood at them to get them to leave. My dad's deer stand was fifty yards away!

But multi-tasking? I don't think so. Unless your in one of those city-folk deer stands. You got a heater and a toilet in there? I have seen stands like that. I have been known to sit in the bushes drink beer while looking for deer. But I brought back deer not excuses. (Smack talk) ;D

Cowgirl ur not alone. Two yrs ago I had the same problem as the cows finally started to head into the timber. A 10pt walks out thru them towards me .He had a 23" inside spread and scored 157". Not bad for a central Okla deer

get a paintball gun, and paint u some cows!!!

This is why i carry an extra arrow with me with a Bludgen tip (Big fat rubber stopper looking thingy). It bounces right off them at close to 300fps. I bet it stings like hell though ;D :o! Good luck to your future hunting situations!

I just have one question for ya. How does a cowgirl expect a cow to act when she dumps corn on the ground in a pasture full of cattle?  ;D

Ninja, I'd expect them to act just like they are, but why cant they go find my dad or Maurice and terrorize their deer and leave me and mine alone???

hows yur dapple puppy doing that you got before you went deer hunting, and that suxs you wait all day for the evening hunt and them --- cows show up it brings the hate out of any body, its kinda like yur nabors practist shooting next door wen its prime hunting time

I have always used the cows to my advatage the cows tell on the deer and the deer tell on the cows but the buck in rut walks right through with out a problem!

I'm going to say it if you hate cows I HATE DEER HUNTERS I CAN'T HOG HUNT CAUSE THEY ARE IN MY WAY! IF I PUT OUT A BAG OF CORN FOR HOGS THEN ALL THE DEER HUNTERS ARE SITTING OVER WANTING TO KILL A DEER!! THERE ARE SOME IN GREEN CAMO,ORANGE CAMO,PINK CAMO, AND PROBALLY EVERY OTHER KIND OF CAMO! i DON'T KNOW WHY THEY CAN'T GO BOTHER SOMEONE IN ANOTHER STATE! >:D ;D ;D

LOL I think I had more fun listenin to y'all than hunting... Never did get anything. Had 2 bucks finally waunder in, a small, tiny, crappy lookin 4 point that really needs culling bad, but ain't 13'' so I cain't shoot him, and a drop dead gorgeous 6 point that was well over 13'', but I let him walk cuz he wasn't but about a 2 year old at best, and since I lease managed land, they really frown on shootin something that young and nice. Oh well, try again next year I guess.

Bennet, I LOVE the puppy, but I swear I am gonna feed the little b*stard benadryll tomorrow night. I have yet to get more than 3 hrs of sleep at a time. I have tried everything I know of to get him to sleep longer, nothing works, and I do mean everything, hot water bottle, clock ticking, heating pad, warm milk, keeping him up and active from bout 3 pm till 10 pm, heck, I even downloaded an app on my iPhone that was "soothing sounds" and put it on heartbeat and breathing and left it on the floor next to his crate... Any you guys got any suggestions? I can tell you one thing, I don't go get him while he is doing it, BUT, the lil sucker has a set of lungs on him... No joke, he was SCREAMING at midnight, I got out of bed, shut my bedroom door, walked outside to smoke, and could STILL hear him, and I live in a brick house!!!!
