Title: Big Barr Hog. Post by: TazD on December 18, 2010, 03:59:21 pm Went out this morning with Bo, Reba, and Zena. Hard long hunt. Walked 10 miles and the dogs did 20 miles. Bo found and bayed this hog at the end of the hunt a long ways off.. When he bays it usually a rank hog or a group, so we try to get to him as fast as we can. He was bayed up for 20min till we got to him. He was in a real nasty thick spot. Got in close sent in Zena and her and Bo caught out. I crawl in and leg him, have a tough time throwing, but finally get him down, and stick him. Bo cut up bad, and Zena has some holes as well, but they will recover.

Post by: geronimo on December 18, 2010, 08:53:18 pm good hunt tazd. sure have been real consistant i like to see that. sounds like it was a rough place to hunt but when you catch hogs like that barr it makes you forget the miles you got to be proud of your dogs for stoping and catching a beast like that
