looks dangerous to me,  and I would probly just loose it anyway.  I just couldnt see payin that much money for a knife. 

In no way trying to be smart, but i got two good knifes from the flea mkt. that will kill a hog just as dead.  $10 bucks each.    ;)

I don't think I would spend that much on one but i would like to see what it would do. Just thinkin' I could spend that money on a pistol or something.

 There was a show called worlds deadliest: Blades and it showed that knife along with the samuri, k-bar and others. The special forces loved it.

How do you like the XD? I want one but was worried that it did not have a safety button.

I dont think price has anything to do with it. A 1976 Datsun truck will take you huntin but you sure feel alot better in a 2010 Dodge Deisel Crew Cab 4X4.......dont ya???  We spend our hard earned money when we see something we like, and I believe that is OK!!!

The XD is nice, mine is chambered in 357 sig, has had enough stopping power for lion, bear and hogs. The first lion we took with it was dead before it fell out of the rocks. although the sig is pricey ammo its good, I need to get reloading dies for this because I can't afford to keep shooting it anyother way.

I believe the knife is mainly used for under water, would be expensive to blast some air in to a hog and i doubt it will do anything more than when just sticking it, might piss him off more

under water, when i lived in florida, i shot alot of large grouper with the speargun, it would have come in handy there for floating them to the surface, but even then, if i didn't get a spine shot with the speargun, I was generally going for a ride....

now where it may work, stick it in behind the hogs ear, take out its nervous system with a blast
