I want to buy a coon light and just want to know if any of yall can recommend a particular model for hoggin.

I dont know about for hoggin, but I use a 21 vlt Klight for coonin. Ways about a pound and it is a belt light so you hardly no it is there. The are made by Mike Kelley over in Cleveland Texas. They make almost all of the lights on the market today no matter who distrubutes it (valley creek) and Mike and his wife are the nicest people in the world to deal with. Quick service and extremely fast shipping. I called them before I went home on midtour leave and my 2 new lights where waiting for me when I got home 2 days later. Speaking of coming home only about 45 more days and Ill be back in TX and ready to stick some pigs!!!

I don't know anything personally about their lights, but Quick Track also manufactures Prowler Lights.  With the service I have received on the telemetry end of their business, I would not hesitate a second to buy one of their lights if I were in the market.

I have been using a brite eyes 6v for a few years. Like it pretty good.

I always used Cajun lights.  They keep going.... and going... and going.... seems like those silly things never wear out.

You cant beat a bandit belt light, but before i bought anything i would try the new "smart light".. they are supposed to be the real deal! Im getting one soon! Check em out!

Here is a good hint for those of you with coon hunting type lights. If your battery goes bad take it to Batteries Plus. I had one that went bad and they took it apart and built a new battery pack for it for about 25 bucks!! while I waited!! it was even better than before because they used better batteries. You can even buy a used light with a bad battery and have em do that.

At least a 21 volt belt light. I have a Tejas, which is about the same thing as a Cajun

lasts 17+ hours high side and 30+ low side. cost 100 bucks . very light weight. I have a nite lite and it starts to get heavy after a couple hours of huntin

  I would by far recommend the Cajun Termite Light.  It is small (not bulky), economical and has a 16 hour burn time.  That thing is really cool and the Cajun Lights really wanted to turn something out that would be useful to Hog Hunters that hunt at night.

Noah, over the years I have been very competative in the Coon Huntin world, I have used all of them beginning with the 6volt wheat light but the very best I have ever carried is the 21 and the 28 Volt Bright Eyes and thier warranty used to be great. you were asking for opinions, this is mine
