I have a hog trap and two big 15'' mud tires with very good tread. i also have a small 10 hp older boat motor it starts if you spray card sleaner in the carb and dies out. Sure the carb just needs cleaning. Im  in port lavaca.

if anyone interested in this, i'm bout 99% positive the float valve is stuck from the way it's described and like he mentioned, just needs the complete carb cleaned.  sounds like a good deal if somebody needs it.

I picked up a almost new generator doing the exact same thing really cheap and was just the valve stuck. good cleaning and it's like new again.

I really like this thread.  Since I make cut kits, I will throw in a mini cut kit.  Few sutures, guaze, wraps and etc.  Hope it will help someone out!! Keep this going...its great! :)

For the hunt macy gets it will have to look back thru the post and see who gets the lead. I think this is starting to get better but thier is a whole lot more that will be done when more people get on the ban wagon. Also if you have already taken something and something else pops up lets someone else get it the more we all give the more we all recieve. I have always heard that hog hunters are the most selfish people out thier but this proves otherwise. Like the boat motor that could of been sold for a couple hundred bucks but that is what this thread is all about thanks to all that has gotten on board

I've got 6 or 7 plastic barrels for dog houses(will have to get the exact number) Located in Conroe.

Might be a dumb question but what is a pigging string?  If its a hobble of some kind I really could use some.

Do barrels have lids either way could use about 3 someone else could get the rest probaly even take u on a hunt to make it a sweet deal for you and me too

Have a custom knife is not finished but will try and be finished by next week will be approximate 4.d blade made for a smaller hand.  The steel is from a big saw blade not sure on the handle yet will have a leather sheath befor I'm done.  Fore warning might be a couple weeks b4 I get it done.

since i know a bunch of you texas guys like the old school rounds, ive got some 45 colt ammo too.  They are reloads, not hot rounds though.  I know ive got lead rounds but i may have some hollow points too.  Not many of the 45 colt but ill throw a box of either them or the 45acp up. as long as i dont have to pay an arm and a leg for shipping them ill even cover the shipping.

This "trading post" / "give&take" / "barter party" (call it what you will ;) ) is a great idea! Kudos to everyone who got thread started & to those who've kept it going! I feel that nothing but good could possibly come from it and believe it will be an active thread for a long time to come. In fact, it has probably already set a record for being the only 7+page long thread NOT containing any form of drama,arguing, or bickering in it! :laugh:  Also, I just wanted to say that I agree with a previously stated comment proposing the use of a "claiming standard" of sorts, just to avoid any future confusion while also saving the time of both, "givers" and "takers" alike. The comment stated that rather than us claiming offers thru a PM which do not inform other members the item has been claimed; we instead claim items by commenting on the board for everyone to see it is no longer on the market. This would save people having to post over and over "the item has been claimed" and "is item still available?".  I second that member's notion that we claim on the thread for all to see. Then PM's can come into play after a deal is finalized. Just saw an idea someone had and felt is share my agreement, just my $.02  :-[  Hope I didnt upset anybody with that, if so, im sorry!

As far as what I have to offer the forum...  I have a few rolls remaining w/a total of roughly 150 +- feet of clear plastic-coated, flexible steel cable in 1/4inch-1/2inch diameter which can be used to make a number of things, but I use it mostly to make dog leads. Similar in style leads as the kind in the picture a few posts back in thread.

The deal is: Deal goes to first person to POST in the actual topic thread, not first PM i get about it. Just quote my post or put my screen name in your claiming post or something so i can see its actually you who posted here first but feel free to PM me as well to verify and to get sizes.
Person also should post something in the "freebie-thread" in return once they have obtained my freebie, just to keep this thread alive! Its kind of fun, haha!
Last I ask: If Im shipping leads to you, id please ask you to, and theres no way to force you to do so, but sending a return letter reimbursing me for getting it to you would make me happy

Or ill just accept a cut collar from ya and you wont have to place it on the thread  ;D :P

1: snap on coupler/double-dog adapter, W/Quik-release snaps for easy unleashing of catchdogs, just need to know roughly the size of dogs will be paired up most often on this 2-way in case theyre large dogs i dont want their heads to be too close together due to short cable&vice-versa
1. 3foot tie out rig for top of dog box or bed of truck
1. 25foot tie out rig for temporary use in the field
 


just need to make a run and buy some more crimps and im equipped again and can assemble leads for you within a week,week and a half at most if my class schedule gets busy, + shipping time

I have a Parker Felt Catch vest that was custom fit/made for a medium size american bulldog(so just a hair longer bodied than a pit) Only used about 2-3 times.  Has the flank and leg flaps.  It was made years ago, and only thing wrong with it is it's a little stiff from sitting. If used a little, would loosen up and be a decent starter vest for someone or backup vest.  It's just sitting in my barn if someone wants it.  I can get pics tonight or tomorrow and post, email or text.

Got a question... I'm not trying to pout.. Lol but between chasing kids, tending to the worthless dogs I have, doing the honey doo's and tryin to look busy I hardly have time to check the thread.. What would happen if a guy just mentioned somethin ahead of time that he needed. By all means I'm not trying to sound greedy at all. In other words how about offering it also. I know beggars can't be choosers but I seriously could have a wreck, dogs would starve, I would starve for not doing the honey doo's and would be a total lazy looking man setting in the recliner and playin on ETHD. Just a thought and don't mean to sound so pouty.. Lol

Thanks for posting claim on the thread then sending a PM, it worked alot better that way and there was no confusion!

For the rest of you folks, Ill have a few yards of cable left over for 2 more people to claim and am willing to make a few more sets of basic leads and possibly 2 or 3 more clip-on couplers/double-dog adapter rigs to go with those leads. The total amount im able to make depends on how much ill have left after LEVI's order. so once i get the crimps picked up and get started on and have finished making LEVI's leads, i will then get to work on this batch of leads. please understand that there will be a slight delay since im making from scratch and am busy with last semester of college and also respect the fact that free is free  ;Dso no need to get upset down the road since im stating in advance it will be a possible 2 week wait. if you dont mind a wait, then claim away!

I have this lep dog that is about a year and a half maybe two.  He hunts out well with the other dogs but he won't work in a pen.  I dont hunt him much and have too many other young dogs to work.  When I got him I was told he was line bred out of Louisiana.  I have had him about three or four months.  I'm in Yoakum, TX.  Patrick

Sorry Dustin.  Bad joke I know.  I really like em.  Cedar is is finding her own but she is a little unsure about stayin out by herself when she is on pigs.  She is getting real rough when other dogs are with her.  Rusty is still by the four wheeler until he hits a trail.  But he will roll out a pretty good ways to stop one.  If I do decide to let em go I will call you or your old man first.

Not at all. I have only hunted him a few times and he hunted out real well with the other dogs for a while.  He went to the bay real well but wouldnt catch.  I have thought about makin a blood dog out of him, but I know I wont put the time in him for that.

I have a small homemade cut collar that doesn't fit any of my dogs. It would probably work for a jagd or a dog of that size. I picked it up in a package deal with some other equipment and would love for someone to be able to use it.

I have a 2 to 3 year old yellow dog. He's a good natured dog gets along with everyone except my uncles plott. Haven't hunted him but twice since I've first got so can't really tell you what hell do. I know the garmin showed him busy 300 yds but both times there was no sighn anywhere. So if anyone wants him I can send pics of him

Hey have three reloaders one OLD rcbs for some reason locked up an older herters and lyman truline jr the lyman has several dies with it 3006 243 3030 357-38 218 bee 243 if someone wants one u have to take all three lol scrap metal is nearly worth it lol as heavy as they are so have to pick up in hico or stephenville.  Rcbs is good if u can get it working think there is a primer in the cylinder going up other two are in good working order.

I've got an old saddle i can let go of. its got a 15 in seat and its pretty rough but i figure theres a few miles left in it. Its an old one with a ralide tree so i wouldnt do alot of cowboyin in it but it would be alrite for ridin or startin colts with. It mite take me a while before i can clean it up and oil it but i will as soon as i get the chance. aint got a clue what shipping wud cost but that wont be to hard to figure out

sure thing buddy, im waiting on my supply shop to re-stock his cable crimps after i cleaned him out making about 20 various types of leads&couplers this week but will get started once i get the delivery call! I got a 217 006 wildlife materials collar that works but only picks up bout 3/4 of a mile on my Marshall system. Might work better on a wildlife system might not but I don't need if any one wants it.

fellas i will make a list on who posted first and work my way down it. the plott gyp is a closed mouth hog hunting machine ranges around 600 yards and hunts hard i posted a pic of her awhile back she is young but i wanted to make the cross to c what they would turn out to be. the dad is a nice well leggy cur around 50lbs he is worked on cows daily and hunted atleast 3 times a week, he throws in a surprise sometimes when he`s suppose to be working, my buddy got a rough hog with him about a month ago, thought he was gonna loose him but he pulled through he is as rough as they come. im located in rains couny TX
