LOL! ;D Title: Re: Central Texas Bay Pen Post by: david on January 31, 2011, 09:40:30 pm I have a question ? The second time a dog gets a 2 count he is DQ. What if the hog never stops longer than 2 sec. Will the dog still be DQ? They have to attempt to maintain control of the hog. But if you do not have running fighting hogs that will not be a problem. I understand that you do not wont to get your hogs torn up. I plan on being there. Just asking so i now what dogs not to bring. Thank you very much.
Title: Re: Central Texas Bay Pen Post by: Texboar on January 31, 2011, 10:40:24 pm Count does not start until forward progress is stopped. Unless one of these hogs goes crazy (which does sometimes happen) they don't run. They are big stout and usually rough. The main reason for this DQ is we're trying out new rules. The caliber of the average dog that is being hauled these days is a vast improvement over that of 10 years ago. The hogs are more even and consistent but, our rules are the same. I'm hoping this will work out for the good if it doesn't it will be discarded. Hope this explanation helped.

Found a few minor problems that willbe fixed before we have another one. I've got pretty thick skin so, if you had a problem with anything let me know and if it's legit I'll try to fix it. Once again THANKS, Skipper
PS we've ordered a custom cut collar with chin protection for Jody Shue Title: Re: Central Texas Bay Pen Post by: redtick23 on February 13, 2011, 10:20:31 am we had alot of fun and the only problem we had was there was two gyps in heat 1 was in the baying but she looked to just be coming in heat but that really falls on the dog owner and they should have left them at home . I think as a hole the baying was done very well and the hogs fit for each event thanks looking foward to the next one
