Title: Re: Uncle earls Post by: Cajunjag on February 03, 2011, 08:24:23 pm My deer lease is 12 miles outside of Winnfield. Uncle Earls is inside the city limits of Winnfield, and the hotels are very limited. RV park on site, but not much as for as service. They have several RV spots around town for people wanting to set up w/ power. Also, the citys of Pineville and Alexandria are not that far away if you absolutely need a hotel. Even if you are staying an hour away, it is not that big of a deal since once you get there, you have no reason to leave except to sleep!
Title: Re: Uncle earls Post by: chainrated on February 03, 2011, 08:45:21 pm Everyone should go at least once. It's amazing how many "woods dogs" they have for sale for 200 bucks, lol..
But it's a fun time if you go with a group of friends.. Title: Re: Uncle earls Post by: RBB Roper on February 04, 2011, 07:39:52 am I can't wait to get down there it will be my first time to go. I have been debating entering a couple dogs. Thought I might ask those who have been there what it takes for a dog to do some good down there? I have 2 cats that to me r kick ass in a pen but others may have a different opion.

Cant wait it should be fun ;D From Many, head east on Hwy 6 to Natchitoches, then from there, head east to Clarence, jump on Hwy 84 and that will take you all the way to Winnfield. Once in Winnfield, you will easily find Uncle Earls by following the signs and so on. I would venture to say it will be an hour one way from Many. Title: Re: Uncle earls Post by: joe on February 07, 2011, 04:27:10 pm so they are having it this year for sure, i heard something about it being cancelled
