Title: Any Practice Pens Around??? Post by: Brad W. on February 15, 2011, 07:04:54 pm I'm new to the sport and got my first dog about 6mths ago. I'm starting to work her but I don't have a pen or alot of access to hogs. Is there any where or any one willing to let me work my dog in a pen on their hogs? She's been in the woods a few times on smaller hogs and did great but I want to see what she'll do on a larger pig. I'm willing to travel up to a couple of hours to work her. I live in Frisco (north of Dallas) and I have a lease just north of Jacksboro. I've put her on hogs up to 60lbs. I usually have to either just let the hog loose and let her go or this last time I tied a 2x4 to it's back leg and let it run. it got hung up about 300yrds into the woods. Every hog she's been on she's caught and I want to see what she does on a larger pig. Thanks in advance for any offers!
