EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

This dog is out of some stock we have been hunting for many years. His father was a huge YBMC that could jump into the back of my truck flatfooted without touching the side of the bed. He would find hawgs waaaaayyyy out there all the time. The mother was a half cur half plott. Didn't know a whole lot about her but seen her hunt once and she was good. He was born Aug 4th. I'm guessing he weighs 60 pounds or more now and still growing. Has a lot of grit and hunts good. Hasn't really been on a good bay but I know he will do good. I have used him to bay some crazy cows. Has a beautiful deep bark. Had all vaccinations and rabies with records. Wormed once a month with Wom-X and twice a month with ivomec. Given Comfortis for fleas once a month. Doesn't have a flea or tick on him. Been keeping him inside at night mainly so he doesn't get stolen or go missing. Go to work or to the ranch with me everyday. He's in great shape. Ran about 6 miles today with no problem. Been shooting guns around him and he doesn't act gun shy. Will ride in the back of a truck with no problem. Has a great nose on him and will make a good hog dog with the right person. Only reason I'm considering selling him is I have 5 dogs now and don't really want more than 2 but can't part with the other 4. Haven't gotten too attached to this one yet and one of them is gunna have to go for the feed bill and my wife to let me back in the bedroom. I really would like to get $500 for him. I've got about that much in him and I think that's how much he's worth, if not more. I WILL TAKE THE BEST OFFER I GET THOUGH. If I don't sell him soon I'll probly just keep him.
