Na man I don's fool with papers on these. I have had the line for alot of years and never had any use on getting them papered. I don't sell off my stock line just use em for working hogs. That and to be honest I have had a few papered dogs thru the years and papers have never found a single hog for me. LOL Thanks for the comment hope you boys get some good yellers down there soon.

Thanks he hunts hard and is out of a hell of an old dog that I raised. Just tweakin him with the final touch ups to finish him and will probably put him on stud duty hopefully before he hits three. But the 10 month ol female is the one that passin on the inside lane. Ran her a bad one last night that cut up another young dog pretty bad for five hours, GPS said she put 19.3 miles under her belt. I can't ask no more of a young one. Tying to get this little Monte pup raised so I don't have those five hour races. LOL

Hey whats up Caskey. I have kinda planned to keep the rough dogs completly seperate. I have an old full blooded yeller dog that is straight catch off of IndianValleyRanch's brother. I am using him now for a catch dog. If the gyp off Monte's turns out super rough like we are expecting I will probably do a cross with those two. I want to keep the line dogs long range finders and have these rough ones to send as back up to shut em down. As far as the rough dogs go I might sell a few if they are up to snuff but won't be sellin any off of the line bred dogs. Aint nothing personal to anyone but I don't raise em to sell...straight working dogs for my family and couple of close hunting buddies.

Give me a shout on down the road brother and we will talk about these rough jokers if your interested.

Later
Myles

She is right on track Monte. If I am able to make cross with the old dog they should be almost strait catch Yellers. Just gonna have to see how they do. But will keep ya posted.

I just dont understand all the hoopla about colored dogs, your dogs are works of art with all the color needed, yellow and black  ;D

Curdog

I guess would be my own line if anybody is truly able to say that. They are mixed when I started with em 20 plus years ago from local Yeller woods stock and a touch of cowdog stock. I just was one of the lucky ones that kept mine up when the fallout hit in the late 90's and everyone sold out. All in the pics are line bred dogs except three that are out of totally different lines I am trying out to see if they will fit the program for outcrosses. As far as the off the ground pens. I will have to say I love em and I hate em. They are great except they are hot in summer and cold in winter, but they come with a bunch of good things as well. My buddy Strikedogkennels has some neat off the grounders he built as well. We will see if we can get some pics of em up.

BobbyB:

Guess that is true enough statement when thats the only colors I paint with. LOL ;)
Nah I respect everybodys preference I have owned just about every color under the sun at some point and time myself, but was never able to find anything steady enough to get the job done for me personally besides them Yellers. But its a hoot to josch the buddies and pick at the diehards as well.

I appreciate it yall. They will get-r-done until you brag on em to much and they do like everybody else's and make a heck of a liar out of ya.  One thing I have observed is no matter what kinda dog you got you will never be completly satisfied with em.

Sorry sir, just saw this and didn't know you asked

" Thanks Waylon. Where are you located in OK. Got some partners in Wetumka just curious. "

I'm up in Osage County, it runs from Tulsa to the Kansas line, big ranch country. Lots of cow bred yeller dogs up here, quite a few Ben Jordan dogs from his yard up here with these cowboys and a few good hog hunting yeller dogs as well. I'm trying to raise some that really work both equally as well, like a good yeller dog should. again sorry it took me so long to reply
