Title: Got another question for those of you who use lutalace? Post by: ChaseG on March 01, 2011, 06:06:13 pm I have a dog I believe was bred and not by a dog that I want pups from. How much lutalace do I give the gyp? And where? I've never done it. Oh and when is it to late to do it

Vet told me to give her .15cc in the musle twice a day for five days within the first 72 hour after she was breed. Did that and after about three weeks in I gave her two more shot of .75cc in the musle. And now any day she should have the pups, so lutalice feld me. Hope you have better luck.

Post by: zachW on March 02, 2011, 10:41:01 am well i had a gyp get sick i thought she just got freightrained by a pig so i gave her dex, ended up taking her to the vet and she was pregnant, vet siad the dex would abort the pups if i gave enough

. And lutalace is very affective you have to give it right. I worked on major hog farms for years and you can get anything to abort with it at anytime we would have 100 sows due on three different days so to get them all to have the pigs all at once we would give them luta i no it sounds bad but we would give them a have cc in the vulva .the trick was 30 minutes later give one cc of oxytocin in the neck. Post by: Boar Collector on March 03, 2011, 01:41:04 pm I've used lutalace once before and I took the dog into the vet and let him give it to her. He only gave her one shot and she aborted the pups.
