Title: Twisting Of the Constitution, and Morals
Post by: DangerZone on March 03, 2011, 12:09:06 pm
The US supreme court ruled in favor of the church picketing at soldier's funerals!!!
Citing 1st amnd. right of free speech!! That is being protected and provided by the deaths of our soldiers!
If you want to picket the war go to Washington not the grave site of a soldier!
When our founding fathers wrote freedom of speech in the constitution they would have never fathomed it would be use to protect MORALLY WEAK  people picketing at a soliders grave.
If my son Dies overseas defending their freedoms they best not picket at his funeral, the 1st amendment won't protect them..

It sickens me to watch those fools picketing. I don't want to come across as some www tough guy, but I'll just say that I hope I don't ever run across them in person. >:D

I have a few friends who are members of the Patriot guard I believe...the ride bikes to block the protesters and make alot of noise to drown them out. Had one here in Conroe and the picketers had a permit for a certain area and an hour before the time to picket the fire dept went with a pumper truck and flooded the area designated for the picketers  ;D

I lost a very close friend my last deployment, and they picketted his funeral.  Thankfully it got broken up before his mother had to see it, but his brother and several others did.  I'll never forget that as long as I live and I feel bad for his family.  He deserved better than that garbage.  Especially from some slime that would never have had the stones to do what he did day in and day out.  They should all hang, at best.
