Title: Has anyone ever crossed a Walker Hound with a BMC? Post by: GW on March 09, 2011, 10:29:25 am If so how did the pups turn out? What did they look like? Are they open or silent on the trail?

I think most good hunting dogs have a touch of good hound from way back. I would think that when done a high quality hound that was worthy of breeding had to of been used. She will yip a little if the hog breaks but is silent on trail and will sure nuff get gone lookin for a hog. I really like the hound cur crosses on hogs but sometimes they are a little more mouthy than a sraight cur. As long as their not wide open I dont mind LOL! JMO

I dont consider yippin behind a hog after it breaks open but I guess some would.
