[/quote] Yep and them pen dogs are usually the first belly up in the woods from that nose to nose baying with em tame, run down, tired, caught hogs. I do agree about the cats gettin high scores in pens, an thats comin from a hard core Yeller man. Just enough bite to stop one, then back up and bay, and if it breakes, they hangin off its tail.

Post by: TimmsHogDogs on March 26, 2011, 10:26:41 pm our best dog is a half plott half mountain curr, in the woods or in a pen doesnt matter as long as they get the job done who cares i have several breeds from registered catahoulas and walkers to some cross bred dogs and BMC. Its not the breed that makes the dog, it the heart in the dog.
