Title: NatGeo Magazine March 2011

March issue of natgeo magazine has a good story about a breeding program to tame foxes to be human friendly. If you like a good read pick one up. Interesting.

I think this was based off a study published a few months ago when some archeaologists unearthed some graves in modern day Iran and Iraq that had foxes burried next to humans....basically we tamed foxes before we did this to wolves.

It may have prompted the story. It's about a Russian biologist that in the 60's breed fox blood lines specifically to remove the wild and enhance human friendly behavior over generations of breeding.
