Title: Bogus Southern cross cut collar
Post by: curdawgs on March 23, 2011, 11:50:14 am
I bought 2 cut collars from southern cross. One was the 3.5 and one was the 4.5, they both were advertised to have poly felt. When I got them the 3.5 was missing a layer (the poly felt). I thought it may just be human error, no big deal but when I called he gave me some line about how the 3.5 dont have poly felt but his webiste said different. I even saved the link. At 1st he said to ship the old one back and he'd send a new one. I told him if he paid for the shipping then I would, he then said he'd just send a new one. Ive been waiting for two weeks on it now. Last week he said to expect it yesterday which was tuesday, Now he said he left town and didnt get to ship it and to expect it next Tuesday.. Luckily I ordered a new one from soemone else yesterday or my dog would have had to go w/o for a second weekend!!

Bad Business!

Larry Paris makes the best ones available.  You custom order, he makes it and depending on what you get, how much you get, and if hes got alot of orders he will ship pretty quick.  Best vest Ive seen around.  he makes collars as well.  His number is 580 931 7446.  Nice man too.

I actually just spoke with Larry's wife a couple of days ago and I am going to order one from them next week when they get back from Uncle Earls. They sound like great folks and Ive only heard good reports on them. Thanks for the reference on them.

No matter if you like there equipment better or not. I have made probably more than 10 orders with Wildboar andorder on monday its in my hand wensday in Louisiana. If they arent 100% sure on your order they call and double check but still get it in the mail that day. Cant beat the service. Just thought I would throw that out there since I ordered another collar monday w/brass tag and again had it wensday.

All i have has is SCK gear, but for no reason other than its local and i can get it in any feed store.  Never tried one of the vests as my CD is still to small to spend the dough on one yet (im using hand me downs) but the collars ive had for years are holding up fine..
