Title: Getting out of it
Post by: shawn on December 31, 2008, 06:58:45 am
Im getting out of hunting hogs and have two dogs I need to get rid of.

First, 11 month old brindle cur, has found his own pigs, but so far is short range unless he's onto something or running with a "partner" very gritty and will catch smaller pigs or will catch with bulldogs on larger pigs, will make someone a great second dog maybe even a lead if he starts ranging out any further on his own. $100.00

Next is a 8 month old BMC/PIT started in a pen and bayed until another dog came in there, then he caught on the ear. Don't know if he'll be a RCD or straight catch or a gritty bay dog. Has been in the woods only once, still acts to much like a puppy. $50.00

Sorry, no trials, I'm not gonna hunt anymore so the dogs gotta go, keeping the bulldogs for family pets.

Does the brindle dog trash on anything?  Where are you located?  I would like to come look at the brindle dog for sure.  817-559-7318.

I'm also looking for another CD that is a bigger male if you have anything that might fit that description.

he's trashed on an armadillo when other dogs found it first. He chased a possum the other night but never barked. Other than that, that's it. Probably a shock collar would fix any future incidents.

I live in Kilgore Texas

One other thing, the dog is nuetered so no puppies from him if he does turn out to be a good one. Another reason why I'm selling him so cheap, that and his short range.

I don't know of any catch dogs for sale right now, I'm keeping both of mine for family pets.

Ive decided to keep the brindle one (actually my wife talked me into and suprising she doesnt like the dog) for a pet and the occasional hunt, but the BMC/PITT still needs to go, i have to many dogs if im gonna hunt every once in awile.
