The gyp that came in heat is a pretty jam up dog an the young dog that sadly tagged it is a good damn dog for his age so what can you do but wait for results lol im pretty excited about this here breeding

That's happened to me twice this year now I'm sitting on 9 good lookin pups for next year

You might think about giveing those dogs a little extra feed.... :-[

they look good tome look like they are at a good hunting wieght

I don't see anything wrong with either dogs condition. Would you care to show us what you think is good shape for this time of year?

Poor? Are we lookin at the same dogs? Those are workin dogs not lap dogs. Dogs that get hunted need to be thin just like a cross country runner needs to be thin. If a good, hard workin cur dog with no quit was any thicker than that it would stroke in this heat.

They look fine to me. I'll bet they can out last a fat dog in this heat and humidity that we have.

 That is not right looks like the dogs are getting hunted to me thay look just right going in to summer if you like them to look like a 55 gal drum so be it just feed them all you want then put us up a post that says rip ol spot because they got over heated   ???

RYAN i gave u an invite to hunt man, but to let u in on some info, not all dogs are to ur likens and not all ppl are either! in my own opinion those dogs look like athletes, and they look like the ideal built of a good BMC. nice set hips with visible hip outline but not pertruding, outline of ribs, so that there is not to much fat for good lung capacity, nice long well built legs for that cross country shut down of a hog, sh** miller where do i sign up for a pup?

They look about the same as mine and I know mine get fed high end groceries daily at over the recommended amounts. Good luck with the pups.

If your dogs are thicker than that then you don't hunt hard plain and simple.

Guys, there is no need in questioning these  "gentlemen" (i.e. leonidas and Ryan)  ability to judge a dog that is in working shape versus to fat.....There comes a time where you just cant fix stupid....I think the time has arrived!!!!   ;D

This is a new set of dogs I am running.

This is Bones we been hunting him perty hard so he  is in excellent hunting shape. He has been a heck of a strike dog for us. Alot of bottom, drive, range the whole package. Sorry he is a little wormy lookin.

This is Itchy. He is our shutdown dog. He has a little bit of a skin problem that we are workin thru but he is solid.

This is Tweaker. I was having alot of trouble getting him to make the rounds I wanted on the B-12 so I hook him up with a little line of Meth ever once in awhile you know like everybody does. He now makes about 10 mile swings and hasn't got the concept of checkin back in but definatly has the range we are lookin for. DOWN TWEAK DOWN!!!!!!

Thanks man them dog are healthy they hunt 4 times a week every week sometimes day an night ...   
 

An we come home with pork of all sizes lol that lil yella gyp right there will blow your mind if you seen her run wide open she is by far my fastest dog an my smallest that male dog is coming on strong he has been on A LOT of hogs an doesn't know what quit is he still needs some work but in a year or two i think he is goin to turn out top dog in my yard but thanks to everyone who knows what a in shape pig dog looks like

I have heard the same thing about my dogs for years and years .  I don't even keep a fat puppy never have a nice good pup but not yard fat.  Your dogs look great man.  I never have had a heat problem with my dogs ever and mine most all wear not bay but cut vest.  People would be amazed at how hard and how long it really takes to get the fat out of the organs and from around the organs once a dog is hog fat ! Its not the otter fat its the fat you cannot see that will ruin your dogs.

Miller your dogs look perfectly normal to a hunter that can identify the difference between underfed or just hunted hard. Had to throw the clown pics in to kinda lighten the mood a little. Was gettin a little hot in here!!  Hope they make some jam up pups. Without a doubt looks like you got plenty of good people to back you up around here.  Also like em Yellers brotha. If I can interest you in a cross with Itchy you just holler! :)

When I saw them two yella dogs then saw someone thought they were poor, i thought, dang, for hunting dogs, u got the ones that HUNT, and look like yours, in good shape and hard muscle,,, and you got the dead ones,,, cuz in this heat, u better not try to run one with much more weight on them than your dogs is showing or it'll be Azz down and 4 legs up!

Thanks i enjoy them we catch pigs so i guess thats all that matters hell if they was pink an i caught hogs i still wouldn't care lol

105 texas .. those hogs were caught at a few of my leases
