Bogie killed a Yote and after finding them she had 3 pups we found. Can we keep them legally and what should we feed them? 2-4 weeks is our guess of age???

Yote pups?  I thought they were gsd or something.  If u raise a male I sure would not mind breeding a female to one of them german shepards

What coyote? That's just my golden retriever blackmouth cross. Also, not being silly, I really wanna know. What would be the desirable traits you'd gain?

The only yote I had ever been around pissed every time it saw me, hopefully that ain't a trait it would have

Desirable traits you would get from a yote cross would be, alot of drive, bottom like no other, great heat tolerance, and who knows what else... a $hitty soundin bay maybe hahah!

The reason they have drive/bottom is cause they are hungry! The heat tolerance is because they have no other choice. The only good Yote is a dead yote!

But it carries over to their crosses well we didn't have hogs then but she would work sheep and goats in the morning and hunt with me in the afternoon.  My parents got her when I was 3 and I literally grew up with her.  She was the smartest dog I have ever been around.  She would open gates and get in trouble well she figgured out how to shut the one going to the barn so she would not get into trouble.  They may not be all like her but I would give dearly to have another.

I'd just take 'em en. cut the males and start bottle feedin'. Don't see why you wouldn't be able to keep them just as long as you don't sale them and people find out you sold them but I don't see the problem with it here in oklahoma.

well its illegal just like owning a squirrel and a racoon or having a dog collar on a deer, its illegal but normally not enforced severely

i have a half coyote and half malimute about 6 months old shes got blue eyes and looks just like a yote.  i put a hog in the bay pen today as a matter of fact.  and she wouldnt quit barken at it...shes really submisive and peess when you try to pet her but,  other tham that shes one of the smarter dogs ive messed with,  really sons and wifes dog so they wont let me hunt her../.

I sobered up with a yote on my arm a time or two, cant remember if we had relations,,,, but seems she wuz smilin
