If there was ONE thing u hated about dogs what would it be????  I can put up with fleas, ticks, flies, cleaning number 2, barking and so on, have NO PROBLEM with none of that ----BUT the one thing I hate and boy does it work my nerves is having to CHASE A DOG, when I call a dog he had better come to me because I HATE chasing them arnd, the big thing about that is the more I have to chase the more upset I get and once I catch up to him/her I cannot beat the crap outa them  ;D :D :D :D :D, I have to PET them and be nice because if I don’t then next time it will be even worse ---

THAT is why I work so hard at the recall and WILL not hunt with folks who do not train the recall---one spends more time chasing dogs then hunting it seems sometimes boy is that frustrating.

I think puppies are cute, but I hate the immaturity that goes along with puppies

x2. that is why i can call all my dogs and they will come running. I can even call them off a hog if needed. works really good when u are in a bay pen.

i hate a dog that wont hunt!!! OR a DOG that will not HONOR another dog that has bayed!!! >:(

i can live with a dog that is a lil shy as long as it loads up at the truck.

Dog fights I hate them

Yep... a dog that would rather start fights than hunt is a cull.

A lot of my dogs dont really want you to catch them. But if i say "load up" or "get in" they will turn on a dime and go load up and lay down. They just dont like to be touched for some reason. Fine with me tho. I have 2 pups now that are so wild that I had to tie a 10' weed eater string to thier collar so I can catch them. ha

Other than dogs that don't have recall...

I cannot stand a dog that jumps up on me. It will flat send me into a hysterical temper tantrum if a dog jumps up on me. It's not a matter of getting dirty, just don't like feet on me pushing me around and scratchin me.

now i know why nobody likes my dogs lol i hate a fighter but other than that i am pretty easy going

a dog that wont listen.

either - they dont come when called or they dont "get out" or "get off" when told after a catch or kill  

dog fights ,,,eh..no biggie if its just a put you in your place kinda thing, if a dog steps outa line in the pack the alpha should put them in their place. that being said anything more than a growl or little scufflr will not be tolerated. what i hate the most is when you have a dog that you think is ''broke'' , then a new or young dog gets to trashin' and your ''broke'' dog joins right in.

I had not though of these idiosyncrasies dogs have with my frustartion this morning with a friends dog staying with us for a few weeks while he is out of state for work ----the little son beatch gets OUT and starts running like some fool dog, I call him to come and NO RESPONCE that just about started it right there.

Ok yes a growl or nip at one that is being a pain I don't mind but I'm talking about a fight I will not put up with

little dogs in purses or strollers.... why in the heck would you buy a dog to carry around!

I cant stand dogs that will fight, I agree with the some of the guys that say they dont mind if its one dog putting another in check for aggrivating them but to just outright start a fight, I wont put up with it and Im not going to give away or sell a dog like that either. :-X unfortunatly when you have lots of dogs and children you cant take forever to try and train a dog out of it, I will try for a little bit but it doesnt take to long for me to decide whether or not a dog can be saved/trained after learning to fight like that....

LOL on the little dogs thing, I cant stand those little fufu dogs that are basically worthless, around my house you either work, hunt or guard... or I have no use for you....

A damn house dog that begs. I cannot stand eating MY food and a dog is sitting at me feet looking at me begging for some!!!

I got one of those!!! She is a one person dog... Will kill herself to get out of the kennel. She pretty much goes were I go know.

The one thing that AGGREVATES me is pen barking!!!  >:(

A dog that won't come when called...yesterday I about dug a hole in the field but I couldn't catch him to get my collar.... >:(
And a dog that lays down when you walk up to them like someone has beaten them, I like a dog with confidence or playful.

The wifes boxer bark wildly every time i am on the riding mower . that drives me insane, he used to do the same thing to the weed eater but after trying to bite the string he quickly learned his lesson. i am with you on the running away thing too . when he finds a way out of the yard he is gone and you can't catch the stupid thing more than once my wife has stopped me from shooting him.

The one thing i hate is a dog that barks, runs, never sleeps, or stops and will drag on lead like its goin somewhere, but when you turn them loose on a hog they dont bark, they dont chase, just stand there and look at it from a distance.  just the opposite when on the chain.  then wont let you catch them   >:(

Dogs here only get ONE chance at fighting, the only thing i will tolerate at all is a female thats putting a male in check from a cold nose. 

I put the escape artist on chains, and that dont always work,  and i wont chase one long,  ;)

i hate little ankle biters that bark at everything that moves, no wait heres a good one my gf has a chiwah-wah, stupid annoyin little chit ive ever stepped on. this dog will act like a pit when theres another dog around, biting and growling, but if you turn the oven on he pisses himself and hides for hours on end... wth...!!!

It don't take me long to brake a dog I can't catch I will leave them and go down the road and after a couple of miles thay are gladly getting in lol. The most annoying thing to me is a dog that PULLS ON A LEAD that pisses me off so bad.

Thought I was the only one that did that. Don't have to shoot em anymore.  Just shake it and they clam up. Works as good as an e collar and tons cheaper. Lol

 I cant stand a dog that is jumping around like a cut monkey when you are trying to put a cut collar on them and a dog that barks when you turn other dogs loose but not it!  >:(  I can pretty much live with everything else as long as they get out and hunt. Usually a green, skinny branch with the leaves stripped off of it fixes both of those problems though.  :)

tried that, an E collar and a bark collar, the damn thing just barks through it.  five minutes in the pen with him, and a small green branch, he learned HUSH!  he still barks but one hush and he sees the branch hanging from his pen  :)

Pard, easy to fix, buy a Tritronics shock collar, a chain choke collar, 10 foot of rope and the negative/postive enforcement book TriTronics sells. takes about 10 minutes a dog 5 days in  a row, its not worth the agravation factor with dogs who dont know there name or comand load up, basically, you need to train them to come when the hear load up, or there name and load up while you have a shock collar on them and calling out the comand, if they dont come at first pop them with shock collar and then drag them into truck bed with the shock collar, chain choke collar and rope attached, it does not take long to break even a deaf hard headed dog to come to the truck and load up with a tritronics collar, so easy and fast and easy on the blood presure its not funy, plus the dog is worth more, you can hunt more places now and if they trash on off game you now have a collar to break them off.  Buy the collar and the book, good luck.

Mine is a toss up between barkin on the chain and the smell of fresh dog sh$t!!!!
