Title: Ice pop pigs
Post by: longshot on January 12, 2009, 05:25:43 pm
Rex, Bryant and I took my brother and our friend Terry from Minnesota.  It looks like He brought some cool weather with him.   WE about Froze our &^#$^$'s off!!!

We had a long race that ended in catching this sow.  Terry got to stick his first hog.  We left it in the back of the truck last night and she FROZE!!

My brother had her leaned up against a tree perfect so when I came out of the house this morning it looked like a hog in my front yard.

Thats funny right there!!  Was it frozen, or was its joints just locked up from all that running?

Don't know if that was the same hog the dogs originally struck, but from start to finish they ran 'em cross-country close to five miles according to google earth.

nice job guys - but you should have taught him better about where to stab it! Even a hog that stands still that long isn't gonna stand still while being stabbed in the azz..

Bryant,
Yea that was some darn running hogs there!   I dont think that was the same hog they jumped unless they started that group.

Could have either ran the group or jumped a boar that ran them to the group......not sure.  I think all the dogs that were out were on their own pig.

When they field dressed her the other night she had 2 dead (rotting) piglets in her stomach that she had eaten!!!!   It is a Hog eat Hog world I guess.......LOL
